ކޮޓަރިތެރެއަށް ބަލައިލުމާއެކު މަދީހާގެ ލޮލުގައި އަޅައިގަތީ ފަތުރާފައި އޮތް މުސައްލައެވެ. ފިޒާލު އަދި ނަމާދުކޮށް ނުނިމެނީ ކަންނޭނގެއެވެ.
“ދަރިފުޅު ނަމާދު ކުރަނީތަ؟” ފިޒާލުގެ ކުލަ އޮއްސިފައިވާ މޫނަށް މަދީހާ ބަލައިލިއެވެ.
“ނިމިއްޖެ. ކިޔަވާލަން މި އިނީ.”
“މަންމަ މި އައީ ވާހަކައެއް ދައްކައިލަންކަމަށް. ދަރިފުޅު ކިޔަވައި ނިމުނީމާ މަންމައަށް އަނގާލަންވީނު!”
“މިހާރު މި ނިމުނީއޭ.”ފިޒާލު ބޭނުންވީ މަންމަ ދައްކަން އުޅޭ ވާހަކައެއް އަޑުއަހާށެވެ.
މަދީހާ ކޮޓަރިއަށް ވަދެ، އެނދުމަތީގައި އިށީނނެވެ. ފިޒާލުގެ ގާތުގައި އިށީންނަން އެދެމުންނެވެ. މަންމަގެ މޫނުމަތިން ފިޒާލަށް ފެންނާން ފެށީ، އެހެންޏާ މަންމަގެ މަންމަގެ މޫނުމަތިން ނުފެންނަ ފަދަ ސީރިޔަސްކަމެކެވެ. ކަންބޮޑުވުމުގެ ކުލަ ވެސް ފެންނާން ހުއްޓެވެ. ބަސްއަހައި ތުއްތު ކުއްޖަކު ފަދައިން އޭނާ ގޮސް މަންމަގެ ގާތުގައި އިށީނނެވެ.
“މަންމަ މި އައީ ދަރފުޅު ހީވެސް ނުކުރާ ކަހަލަ ވާހަކައެއް ދައްކައިލާން ވެގެން.” ފިޒާލު އިށީނނުމުން ފިޒާލުގެ މޫނަށް ފުން ނަޒަރަކުން މަދީހާ ބަލައިލިއެވެ. “މަންމަ ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް އެދެން، މަންމަ ދައްކާ ވާހަކަތައް ދަރިފުޅު ކަނުލައި އަޑުއެހުމަށް. އަދި މަންމަ ކުރާ ސުވާލުތަކަށް ފޮރުވުމެއް ނެތި ޖަވާބު ދިނުމަށް. މަންމައަށް އެނގޭ ދަރިފުޅު ދޮގެއް ނުހަދާނެކަން ވެސް.”
ފިޒާލުގެ މޭ ތެޅެން ފެށިއެވެ. މަންމަ އަނެއްކާ މި އުޅެނީ ކޮން ވާހަކައެއް ދައްކަން ބާވައެވެ؟ އޭނާގެ ހިތް ފުރަތަމަ ވެސް ބުނީ، މަންމަ އެ އައީ، ނަދާގެ ވާހަކަ ދައްކާން ކަމަށެވެ. މަންމަގެ ގާތުގައި ކޮއްކޮ ކޮންމެވެސް ވާހަކައެއް ދެއްކީ ކަމަށެވެ. ފިޒާލު އަނގައިން ވެސް ނުބުނެ، އިސް އޮބައިލީ ކިޔަމަންތެރިކަމާއެކުގައެވެ.
މަންމައަށް އެނގޭ ދަރިފުޅު މިހާރު ވަރަށް ބޮޑު ނުތަނަވަސްކަމެއްގެ ތެރޭގައި އުޅެމުން އަންނަކަން. ދަރިފުޅުގެ މޫނުމަތިންނާއި އަމަލުތަކުން އެ ވާހަކަ މަންމައަށް ކިޔައިދޭތާ ދުވަސްކޮޅެއް ވެއްޖެ. ދަރިފުޅުމެން ދެ ކުދިންނަށް ކުރިމަތިވާ ކޮންމެ ކަމެއްގައި، ކުޑައިރެކޭ އެއްގޮތަށް މިހާރު ވެސް އެންމެ ގާތުގައި ހުންނަން ބޭނުންވަނީ މަންމަ. އެހެންވެ މަންމަގެ ހިތަށް އުނދަގޫވާ ވަރުން މި އައީ. ކޮންކަމެއް ދަރިފުޅަށް ދިމާވެގެން ތި އުޅެނީ؟” މަދީހާ ވާހަކަ ފެށީ، އެއްވެސް ކަމެއް އެނގޭ ކަމަކަށް ހަދައިގެންނެވެ. އޭނާ ބޭނުންވީ، ހުރިހައި ވާހަކައެއް ވެސް ފިޒާލުގެ ދުލުން ބުނުވާށެވެ. ކަމުގެ ޙަޤީޤަތް އެންމެ ރަނގަޅަށް ސާފުވާނީ އޭރުންނެވެ.
މަންމަގެ ވާހަކައަށް ދޭނޭ ޖަވާބެއް، ފިޒާލުގެ ސިކުނޑިއަކަށް ނައެވެ. ޙަޤީޤަތުގައި އޭނާއަށް، ކަމަކަށްވާ ކަހަލަ ކަމަކާ ދިމައެއް ނުވެއެވެ. ނަދާއަކީ އޭނާއާ އެއްވެސް ގުޅުމެއް އޮތް ކުއްޖެއް ނޫނެވެ. ނަދާއަކަށް އޭނާއެއް ނުވެސް އެނގޭނެއެވެ. އޭނާއަށް ނަދާ ދެކެ އިންތިހާއަށް ލޯބިވެވުނީއެވެ. އެ ލޯބީގައި އޭނާ އަނދައި ހުލިވަނީއެވެ. އެއީ އޭނާގެ ނަފުސުގެ ބަލިކަށިކަމެވެ. ހިތްވަރުހުރި ފިރިހެނަކަށް ނުވާކަމުގެ ޢަލާމާތެކެވެ. ފިރިހެނުންނަކީ މި ކަހަލަ ކަންކަމުގައި ވަރަށް ހިތްވަރުގަދަ ބަޔެކެވެ. ތަނަކުން ފެނުނު، ނުވެސް ދަންނަ އަންހެން ކުއްޖަކަށް ހިތް ދީފައި، އެ ހިތުގައި ފިރުމައި ހޭހަންކޮށްދޭށޭ ކިޔައި އާދޭސްކުރާނޭ ބަޔެއް ނޫނެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އޭނާއަށް އުޅެވެމުން އެ ދަނީ، އެ ކަހަލަ އަންހެންދުޅާ އުޅުމެކެވެ. އެ ފަދަ ވާހަކައެއް މަންމަގާތުގައި ކީއްކުރަން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއްވެސް މީހަކާ ހިއްސާކުރުމަކީ ފަސޭހަ ކަމެއް ނޫނެވެ.
މި ކަހަލަ ފިކުރެއްގައި އިންދާ މަންމަ ގޮވައިލި އަޑަށް ފިޒާލު ސިހުނެވެ. މަންމަގެ ސުވާލު ދެވަނަ ފަހަރަށް ފިޒާލާ ދިމާއަށް އަތުވެއްޖެއެވެ. ފިޒާލު ލޯ މަރައިލިއެވެ. މި ޖެހުނީ ވަރަށް ބޮޑު ކަމެކެވެ. މަންމައަކީ މި ދުނިޔެއިން އޭނާ އެންމެ ލޯބިވާ އިންސާނާއެވެ. އެންމެ ކުޑަދުވަހުން ފެށިގެން ވެސް، މަންމަ ދެކެ އޭނާ އިންތިހާއަށް ލޯބިވެއެވެ. މަންމަގެ ދުލުން ކަމަކު ބުނެފި ނަމަ، ކޮންމެ ހާލަކުން ވެސް އެ ކަމެއް އެ ގޮތަކަށް ކުރެވޭތޯ އޭނާ އަބަދު ވެސް ބަލައެވެ. އުޑެއްބުޑެއް ވަކިނުވާއިރު ވެސް މެއެވެ. މަންމައަކީ ކިހައި މުހިންމު މީހެއްކަމާއި މަންމައަށް ކުރާންޖެހޭ އިޙުތިރާމާއި މަންމައަށް ދޭންޖެހޭ ލޯތްބާއި ޤަދަރު ނޭނގޭ އިރު ވެސް މެއެވެ. މިހާރު ބޮޑުވެ ތަސައްރަފު ފުދި، އެ ހުރިހައި ކަމެއް އެނގުމުން، މަންމައަށް އޭނާ ކުރާ ޤަދަރު އަދި ވަކީން ބޮޑެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ލަދުވެތިކަމުގެ ފަރުދާ އެއް ފަރާތްކޮށްލަން އޭނާ ގަސްތުކުރިއެވެ. ފަރުދާގެ ނިވަލުން ނިކުމެ މަންމަގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި ހަގީގަތް ހާމަކުރާން ނިންމިއެވެ.
ފިޒާލު އިސް އުފުލައިލިއެވެ. ފެންކަޅިވެފައިވާ ދެ ލޮލުން މަންމައާ ހަތަރުކަޅި ހަމަކޮށްލިއެވެ. ވާހަކަ ފަށާނެ ހިސާބެއް އޭނާއަކަށް ނޭނގުނެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން، އެ ވަގުތު ހިތަށް އެރި ހިސާބުން އޭނާ ވާހަކަ ފެށިއެވެ. އެގޮތް މިގޮތަށް ކިޔައިދެމުން ގޮސް، ނަދާ ފުރަތަމަ ފެނުނު ދުވަހުން ފެށިގެން މިއަދާ ހަމައަށް ކަންހިނގައި ދިޔަގޮތް ކިޔައިދިނެވެ. ފިޒާލުގެ ވާހަކަތައް އަޑުއަހަން އިންއިރު މަދީހާގެ އިހުސާސްތަކުގައި، އުފާވެރި ކުލަތަކާއި ހިތާމަވެރި ކުލަތައް ޖެހެމުން ދިޔައެވެ.
ފިޒާލުގެ ވާހަކަ ނިމުނުއިރު މަދީހާ ވަނީ، ވަރަށް ވަރުގަދަ ޢަޒުމެއް ކަނޑައަޅާފައެވެ. ކޮންމެ ހާލަކުން ވެސް، ފިޒާލަށް ނަދާ ހޯދައި ދިނުމެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އެ ޔަގީންކަން އެ ވަގުތު އޭނާ ފިޒާލަކަށް ނުދެއެވެ. އޭނާ ބުނެލީ ހިތްވަރުގެ ދެތިން ބަހެކެވެ. އެދުނީ ފަހި ވިސްނުމެއްގައި ދުވަސްތައް ހޭދަކުރުމަށެވެ.
މަންގެ ކުރިމައްޗަށް ހިތް ބަންޑުންކޮށްލެވުމުން، ފިޒާލުގެ ހިތަށް ލިބުނީ، ވަރަށް ބޮޑު ލުޔެކެވެ. މީގެ ހިނދުކޮޅެއް ކުރީގައި އޭނާގެ ހިތް އޭނާ އުފުލަމުން ދިޔައީ އެތައް ހަންދަރެއްގެ ބުރަދަން ހުރި އެއްޗެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް މަންމަ އެ ކޮޓަރިން ނިކުމެގެން ދިޔައިރު އޭނާއަށް އިހުސާސް ކުރެވެމުން ދިޔައީ، އެ ޖާގައިގައި އޮތީ ބުރަދަނެއް ނެތް ވިންދުޖަހާ މަސްކޮޅެއް ކަމުގައެވެ.
“ކަލޭގެ ހިތުގައި ވިންދު ނުޖެހިޔަސް، މަގޭ ހިތުގައި ވިންދު ޖަހައޭ. އެ ވިންދުގައި ފުރާނަ ވެސް އެބަހުރި. އެނގިއްޖެތަ؟” ލަތީފު ކެކިގަތީ ނަދާއަށް ބުނެވުނު އެއްޗަކުންނެވެ.
ނަދާ އޮތީ ބަނޑޮހުގައި އޭނާއަށް ޚާއްޞަކުރި ކޮޓަރީގައެވެ. މިހާރު ނަދާގެ ހާލަތު ރަނގަޅެވެ. ކެއްސުން ވަނީ ހަމައަކަށް އެޅިފައެވެ. ހުމެއް ނާދެއެވެ. ކަރުގެ ރިހުން ވެސް ހަމައަކަށް އެޅިއްޖެއެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ވަރުބަލިކަން ހުރެއެވެ. އެ ނޫން އުނދަގުލެއް ނެތެވެ. އެހެނަސް އޭނާ ވަށާލައިފައި ވަނީ، އެކަނިވެރިކަމެވެ. އެއީ ކުޑަ ވޭނެއް ނޫނެވެ. ގުޅައިލައި ހާލު ބަލައިލާނެ މާ ގިނަ އެކުވެރިންނެއް އޭނާގެ ނުތިބެއެވެ. މި ދުވަސްކޮޅު ތަންކޮޅެއް ގިނައިން ލަތީފު ގުޅައެވެ. އެއްޗެހި ކިޔުން ނޫން ކަމެއް އޭނާގެ ނޯންނާނެއެވެ.
ލަތީފު ރުޅި އައިސްގެން ހަޅޭއްލަވާގޮތަށް ވާހަކަ ފެށުމުން، ނަދާ އޮތީ އަނގައިން ނުބުނާށެވެ. މިކަން ވީ ލަތީފުގެ އަނދަމުން ދިޔަ ހިތަށް އަޅައިލެވުނު ތެޔޮފޮދަކަށެވެ.
“ކިޔާނެހައި އެއްޗެއް ކިޔައިފަ ތައްބެއްދީމަ ވޭތަ؟ މިހާރު ކަލޭގެ މަންމަގެ ހުރިހައި ޚަރަދެއް މި ބަލަހައްޓަނީ މަ ކަމެއް ނޭނގޭތަ؟ މަ އަޅައިނުލި ނަމަ އޭނާ މިހާރު އޮންނާނީ ފަސްގަނޑު ދަށުގަ. އެކަމަކު މަ އެއްޗެއް ބުނާއިރަށް ލަދެއް ނެތިގެން ތިޔަ ފަށައިގަންނަނީ.”
ނަދާ އަނގައަކުން ނުބުނެއެވެ. ހިތުހުރި އެއްޗެއް ކިޔަން ލަތީފަށް ދޫކޮށްލައިގެން އޮތީއެވެ. އަޑުއަހައި މީހެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ.
“ވާހަކަ ދައްކަބަލަ!” ލަތީފުގެ ރުޅި އިތުރަށް ގަދަވިއެވެ.
“ކީކޭތަ ދެން މަ ކިޔަންވީ؟” ފަރުވާކުޑަ ގޮތަކަށް ނަދާ ބުނެލިއެވެ.
“ކިޔާނެ އެއްޗެއް ނެތީތަ؟” ލަތީފުގެ ދެ ދަތްޕިލަ ބާރުވިއެވެ.
“ލަތީފު ތި ކިޔަނީނު ހުރިހައި އެއްޗެއް!”
“އެހެންތަ ހީކުރީ؟ ކަލޭ ކިޔާނެ އެއްޗެއް ނެތަސް، މަގޭ އަތުގައި އެބަހުރި ކުރާނެ ކަންތައްތައް.” ލަތީފު އިންޒާރު ދިނެވެ. “ދުނިޔެއަށް ލޯ ހުޅުވާލަން ނުކެރުނީމަ މަ ކުށްވެރި ނުކުރާތި!”
ލަތީފުގެ އިންޒާރާއެކު ނަދާ ފިނިވިއެވެ. އޮތްތަނުން ފުންމައިގެން ތެދުވެވުނެވެ. އޭނާ ބޭނުންވީ ލަތީފު ފިނިކުރާށެވެ. އެއީ ނުރައްކާތެރި މީހެކެވެ. ކޮންމެ ފަދަ ކަމެއް ވެސް ކޮށްފާނެއެވެ. ފުރާނަހުއްޓާ ވަޅުލެވޭކަށް އޭނާ ބޭނުމެއް ނޫނެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ލަތީފުގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި އޭނާ ވަގުތުން ކުޑަކަކޫ ޖެހިއެވެ.
މީހެއްގެ ގެއެއްގައި ކުއްޔަށް އުޅުމަކީ، އެ މީހާގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި ކުޑަކަކޫ ޖަހަންޖެހޭ ފަދަ ކަމެއް ކަމަކަށް އަހުސަނު ގަބޫލެއް ނުކުރެއެވެ. ކުއްޔަށް އުޅެނީ، އެ މީހަކު ބުނި ވަރަކަށް ފައިސާ ދީގެންނެވެ. އެހެނޭ ކިޔައިފައި، އެމީހެއްގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި ނިކަމެތިވެގަންނާކަށް ނުޖެހޭނެއެވެ.
އަހުސަނު ހުރީ ވަރަށް ރުޅިގަދަވެފައެވެ. އަހުސަނު ކުއްޔަށް އުޅުނު ގޭގެ ބޮޑުމީހާ ކަންތައް ކުރި އިހާނެތި ގޮތުންނެވެ. އަހުސަނު އެ ގެއަށް ވަނީ، ވިހި ހާސް ރުފިޔާ ސެކިއުރިޓީ ޑިޕޮސިޓެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި ބަހައްޓާފައެވެ. ކޮވިޑާ ގުޅިގެން އަތްމަތި އިންތިހާއަށް ދަތިވެ، ކުލި ދެއްކޭނެ ގޮތް ނުވުމުން އޭނާ އެ ތަން ދޫކޮށްލީ، މަސްދުވަސް ކުރިން ގޭގެ ވެރިފަރާތަށް އަންގާފައެވެ. އެ ހާލަތަށް ދިޔުމުން ވެސް، ކުލިން އެންމެ ރުފިޔާއެއް ވެސް ކަނޑައި ނުދިނީމައެވެ. ފިޒާލުގެ އާއިލާގެ ދީލަތި އެހީތެރިކަން ނުލިބުނު ނަމަ، އޭނާއަށް ވެސް މަޖުބޫރުވީހީ، އެނބުރި ރަށަށް ދިރިއުޅުން ބަދަލުކުރާށެވެ.
މިއަދާ ހަމައަށް ވެސް އަހުސަނު އުއްމީދު ކޮށްގެން ހުރީ، ސެކިއުރިޓީ ޑިޕޮސިޓަށް ދެއްކި ވިހި ހާސް ރުފިޔާ އޭނާއަށް ލިބޭނެ ކަމަށެވެ. އެ ތަނުން ނިކުތްއިރު ދައްކަން ޖެހޭ ބިލެއް ނޯންނާނެއެވެ. އެއްވެސް ތަނެއް ހަލާކުވެ މަރާމާތުކުރަން ޖެހިފައި ނުވާކަމުގެ ޔަޤީންކަން ވެރިފަރާތުން ދިނެވެ. އެކަމަކު އަތްމަތި ހުސްވެ، ހަދާނޭގޮތެއް ނެތުމުން މިއަދު ގުޅީމާ އެންމެ ފަހުން ދިން ޖަވާބަކީ، އެ ފައިސާ ނުލިބޭނެ ކަމަށެވެ. ކޮން ފަދަ ނުލަފާ މީހެއް ބާވައޭ އަހުސަނުގެ ހިތަށް އެރިއެވެ.
ފިޒާލަށް އަހުސަނު ގުޅީ ހަމަ އެއްވެސް ގޮތެއް ނެތީމައެވެ. އަތްމަތި އެއްކޮށް ހުސްވެގެންނެވެ. ދުނިޔޭގެ ލަދަށް ގުޅާން ނުކެރި އެތައް އިރަކު ހުރެފައި އޭނާ ފައިސާކޮޅަކަށް އެދުނެވެ.
“ބުނީމެއްނު ވިހި ހާސް ރުފިޔާ ލިބޭނެ ވާހަކަ.” ފައިސާގެ ވާހަކަ އަހުސަނު ބުނުމުން ފިޒާލަށް ބުނެވުނެވެ.
“ޚަބަރެއް ނުވެގެން މިއަދު ގުޅާލީމަ ބުނީ އެ ފައިސާއެއް ނުލިބޭނެޔޯ.”
“ނުލިބޭނެއޭ؟” ފިޒާލުގެ ދެ ލޯ ބޮޑުވިއެވެ. “ކީއްވެގެންނޯ ނުލިބެންވީ؟”
“އެގްރިމެންޓުގައި އޮންނާނެޔޯ ނިކުތުމުގެ ތިން މަސް ދުވަސް ކުރިން އަންގަން. އެއް މަސް ކުރިންނޫންހޯ އެންގީ. ވަރަށް ގޮތެއް ނެތް މީހެއް އެއީ.”
“އެކަމަކުވާ. މީ ޚާއްޞަ ހާލަތެއްކަން ވެސް އޭނާއަށް ނޭނގުނީތަ؟ އިސްލާމީ އިލްމުން މަތީ ތައުލީމް ހާޞިލުކޮށްފަ ހުރި މީހެއްވީމަ މަ ހީކުރީ އެއީ ވަރަށް ރަނގަޅު މީހެއްކަމަށް. ހަގީގަތް އެނގުނުއިރު، އެހެނެއް ނޫން ދޯ މިވީ.”
“އަދި ވަރަށް ހެއްވާ ވާހަކައެއް ވެސް ބުންޏޭ. ތި ގޮތަށް، ތިން ހަތަރު މީހުން މިހާރު ނިކުމެގެން ހިގައްޖެޔޯ. އެއިން ކޮންމެ މީހަކު ވެސް ތިމަންނައަށް ބިރު ދައްކައިގެން، ވަޅިޖަހާނަމޭ ކިޔައިގެންނޯ ޑިޕޮސިޓް ފައިސާކޮޅު ނަގަނީ. އަހަރެން އެކަންޏޯ އޭނައާ ރީތިކޮށް ވާހަކަ ދައްކަނީ.”
“ރީތިކޮށް ވާހަކަ ދައްކާ މިހާއަށް ދޯ މި ލިބުނީ އަނިޔާ؟ ކިހައި ރަނގަޅު. އިސްލާމީ ޝަރީޢަތުގައި އޮންނަ ގޮތަކީ އެއީ ބާ؟ ދެން އެ ފައިސާކޮޅު ނުދޭން އޭނާ ދެއްކި ހަމައަކީ ކޮބައި؟”
“ސެކިއުރިޓީ ޑިޕޮސިޓްގެ ލީގަލް މާނަ މަށަށް ކިޔައިދިނީ.”
“ކޮބާޔޯ ލީގަލް މާނައަކީ؟”
“އެއް މަހުގެ ޑިޕޮސިޓް ބަހައްޓާފައި ހުންނަތަނެއް ނަމަ، ތަން ހުސްވާ މަހު، އޭނާއަށް ކްލައިންޓަކު ނުލިބުނިއްޔާ އެ ފައިސާ ދޭކަށް ނުޖެހޭނެޔޯ. އެއް މަސްވީއިރު ތިމަންނައަކަށް ކްލައިންޓަކު ނުލިބުނޯ. އެހެންވީމަ ދެން އެ ފައިސާ ހޯދަން ނުގުޅާށޯ!”
“ސުބުޙާނަﷲ! ތީ ކޮންތާކުން އޭނާ ދަސްކުރި ލީގަލް މާނައެއްބާ؟ ކީކޭ ދެން ބުނާނީ؟ މި ކަހަލަ ދުވަސްވަރަކު ތިހެން ހަދަން ހެޔޮ ވެސް ނުވާނެއެއްނު! ގައިމު މާލޭގެ ބޮޑެތި މުއްސަނދިން ވިއްޔަ!”
“ތި ކަމެއް ނޭނގެ! އޭނާ އަބަދުވެސް ފަށަފަށައިގެން ދައްކަނީ، އޭނާއަށް ލިބުނު ގެއްލުމުގެ ވާހަކަ. އޭނާގެ ޙައްޤުގެ ވާހަކަ. ދައްކާ ވާހަކައިން ހީވަނީ، މާދަމާ ވެސް އަނގައަށް ލާނެ އެއްޗެއް އޭނާގެ އަތުގައި ނެތްހެން.” އަހުސަނު ރުޅިގަދަވާގޮތް ވިއެވެ.
