ފަތިހު ހޭލި ނަމަވެސް އެންމެންނަށް ތައްޔާރުވެގެން ބޭރަށް ނިކުމެވުނުއިރު ހުރީ، ހަތެއް ޖަހައި ބޮޑުވެފައެވެ. ދަތުރު ރޭވިފައި އޮތީ، މިއަދު އެނބުރި ކޮލަމްބޯއަށް ދިއުމަށް ކަމަށްވާތީ، ހޮޓަލުން ހެނދުނު ނިކުތީ ދެން އެނބުރި ނާންނަގޮތަށެވެ. ފޮށިވަށި ވޭނަށް އެރުވުމަށްފަހު، އެޕާޓްމަންޓުގެ ބިލް ދައްކައި، ތަޅުދަނޑި ހަވާލުކޮށްފައި ނައްޓައިލީ ސަޔަށެވެ. ވެހެމުން ދިޔަ ވާރޭގެ ސިލްސިލާ އޭރު ވެސް ބަރާބަރަށް ކުރިއަށް ދެއެވެ. ޖައްވު އިންތިހާއަށް ފިންޏެވެ. އެންމެން ތިބީ ފިނި ހެދުމުން ހަށިގަނޑު ކަފުންކޮށްގެންނެވެ. ބޮލާއި ދެ ކަންފަތަށް ދާންދެނެވެ. މޫނު ފިޔަވައި ފެންނަތަނެއް އެކަކުގެ ވެސް ނެތެވެ.
ހެނދުނުގެ ނާސްތާއަށް ވެސް ދިޔައީ ނިއުބާޒާރު ރޯޑަށެވެ. “މިލާނޯ ރެސްޓޯރެންޓް”އިން ސައިގެ ކަންތައް ނިންމައިލީ ވަރަށް ހިތްގައިމުކޮށެވެ. ރަހަމީރުވެފައި ހިތްހަމަޖެހުން ލިބުނު ސަޔަކަށް ވިއެވެ. ސަޔަށްފަހު، އެ ސަރަޙައްދުގެ ފިހާރަތަކަށް ވަދެ ކުޑަކޮށް ބާޒާރުކޮށްލައި، ބޭސްފިހާރައަށް ވަދެ، އިއްޔެ ހޮޑުލީ ކުދީންނަށް ޚާއްޞަކޮށް ކޮންމެހެން ގަންނަންޖެހޭ ހަދިޔާ ވެސް ގަނެ ހަދައިގެން، ވޭނަށް އެރިއިރު ވެސް، ވެހޭ ވާރެއަކަށް ބަދަލެއް ނާދެއެވެ. ރޭވި ކަންކަން ވާރެއާއެކު ފެނަށް ދަނީކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ތަފާތު ގޮތްގޮތަށް ވާހަކަދެއްކުމަށްފަހު، އެންމެފަހުން އެއްބަސްވެވުނީ ދަތުރަށް ފެށުމަށެވެ.

ގާތްގަނޑަކަށް ދިހައެއް ޖަހައި އެހައިކަންހައި އިރު ދަތުރަށް ފަށައިފީމެވެ. މަންޒިލަކީ ކެންޑީއެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ދާ މަގުމަތީގައި ބައެއް ތަންތަނަށް މަޑުކޮށްލާ ގޮތަށް ވަނީ ހަމަޖެހިފައެވެ. ވެހޭ ވާރޭގެ ތެރޭގައި ހަރު ދުވެލީގައި ވޭން ދުއްވަމުން ދިޔައެވެ. ހޮޑުލެވޭ ކުދީން މިއަދު ތިބީ ބޭސްކައިގެންނެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން އެ ފަދަ ކަމަކަށް މަޑުކުރާކަށް ނަސީބަކުން ނުޖެހުނެވެ. އެނބުރެމުން ސެނބުރެމުން، ކަތިކަތިލަމުން ވޭން އަޅުގަނޑުމެން ގޮވައިގެން ތިރިއަށް ފައިބަމުން ދެއެވެ. މިއަދު ވޭނުތެރެއަކު މާ ބޮޑު ފޯރިއެއް ނެތެވެ. ބޭސްކައިގެން އެއްބަޔަކު ތިބީ ނިދިފައެވެ. ފެންކަނޑައިގެން ނުދާތީއާއެކު، ފިނި ބޮޑުވެފައިވާތީ، އަޅުގަނޑު ވެސް ލޯ މަރައިލީމެވެ.
އަޅުގަނޑަށް ހޭލެވުނީ ވޭން މަޑުކޮށްލުމުންނެވެ. ގަޑިއަށް ބަލައިލިއިރު، ބާރަޖަހަނީއެވެ. ލޯ ހުޅުވައިލެވުނު އިރު، ދަތުރުގެ އެހެން ބައިވެރީން ވެސް އަޅުގަނޑު ފަދައިން ނިދީގެ އަސަރުގައި ތިބެ، ކުޑަދޮރުން ބޭރަށް ބަލައިލަނީއެވެ. ވަށައިގެން ފެންނާން އޮތީ ބޮޑެތި އުސް ފަރުބަދަތަކާއި ލޮލުކޮޅަށް އޮބައިލާ ހިސާބަށް ދެމިފައި ހުރި ސައިފަތް ދަނޑުތަކެވެ. ވޭން މަޑުކޮށްފައި އޮތް ދިމާ އެތެރޭގައި، މާ ބޮޑުނޫން އިމާރާތެއް ފެންނާން ހުއްޓެވެ. ވަށައިގެން ބިއްލޫރި ކުޑަދޮރުތަކެއް ލާފައި ހުރި، ފެހި ކުލައިގެ އިމާރާތެވެ. ދެ ފުރާޅަކަށް ހިޔާކޮށްފައި ހުރި، ހިމަ ދިގު އިމާރާތެކެވެ. އެތަނުގެ ބިއްދޮށުން ވެސް ފެންނާން އޮތީ އުސް ފަރުބަދައާއި ބޮޑެތި ސައިފަތް ދަނޑުތަކެވެ. ވިއްސާރަ ދުވަހެއްވީމާ ކަންނޭނގެއެވެ. މާ ގިނަ މީހުންނެއް އެ ތަނަކުން ނުފެނެއެވެ.
ސްޓޯބެރީ ފާމްގައި އުފާވެރި ވަގުތުކޮޅެއް

އަޅުގަނޑުމެން ގޮސް ފުރަތަމަ ވެސް ވަނީ އެ ތަނުގެ ކެފޭއެއް ގޮތަށް ހަދާފައި ހުރި ތަނަށެވެ. އެތާ އެތެރޭގައި ހައެއްކަ މޭޒު ހުރި އިރު، ކޮންމެ މޭޒެއްގެ ދެ ފަރާތުގައި ދެ ގޮނޑި ބަހައްޓާފައި ހުއްޓެވެ. ބައެއް މޭޒުދޮށުގައި މީހުން ތިއްބެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ގިނަ މޭޒުތައް ހުރީ ހުހަށެވެ. އެއް ކޮޅުގައި ހުރީ، ތަނުގެ ފުޅާމިނާ އެއްވަރުގެ ބޮޑު ކޮށިގަނޑެކެވެ. އެތަނުގައި މުޅިން ވެސް ތިބީ ލަންކާ ކުދީންނެވެ. އަންހެންކުދީންނާއި ފިރިހެން ކުދީންނެވެ. ކޮންމެ ކުއްޖަކު ވެސް ލާފައި ހުންނަނީ ރަތް ގިރުވާނުލާފައިވާ ފެހި ކުލައިގެ ޓީޝާޓެކެވެ. އެތަނަށް ގޮސް އެ ކުދީންނާ ވާހަކަ ދައްކާލުމުން އެނގުނީ، ތާޒާ ސްޓޯބަރީގެ ތަފާތު ބުއިންތައް، ވަގުތުން އެ ކުދީން ތައްޔާރުކޮށްލަދޭ ކަމެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އަޅުގަނޑުމެން ނިންމީ، އެއްޗެއް ބުއިމުގެ ކުރީން ސްޓޯބަރީ ދަނޑުތައް ބަލައިލުމަށެވެ.
