“އަހުމަދޫ! އަވަސްކޮށްލާ! އެ ސޮރު ނިމޭގަޑި ޖެހެނީ.” ފާޚާނާގައި ހުރި އަހުމަދުގެ ކަންފަތުގައި، އޭނާގެ އަންހެނުން ޝާޢިރާގެ އަޑު ޖެހުނެވެ. އޭނާ ގަޑިއަށް ބަލައިލިއެވެ. ދިހަމިނެޓަށް ވަނީއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން އަވަސް އަވަސްކޮށްލައިގެން ނިކުތެވެ. ތައްޔާރު ވެލައިގެން ގެއިން ނިކުންނަން ހިނގައިގަތްއިރު ހުރީ ގަޑިޖެހެން ތިންމިނެޓެވެ. އޭނާއަކީ ހިނގާފައި އުޅޭ މީހެކެވެ. ލިބޭ އެއްޗަކުން ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ އަސާސީ ބޭނުންތައް ފުއްދާފައި، އެއްޗެއް ބާކީ ނުކުރެވޭތީ، ދުއްވާނެ ސަވާރީއެއް ހޯދޭވަރު ނުވަނީއެވެ.
“މުސާރަ ޖަމާވެއްޖެތަ؟” ނިކުމެ ނިކުމެ ހުއްޓާ ޝާޢިރާ އެހިއެވެ.
“އަދި ނުވާނެއެއްނު. މިއަދު އަދި ބާވީސް. ކިހިނެއްވީ؟”
“ކިރުދަޅު ހުސްވެފައި ހުރީމަ.”
“މުސާރަ ލިބުނީމަ ގަނެވޭނީ.” އަހުމަދުގެ އަޑުގައި ހުރީ މޮޅިވެރިކަމެވެ.
“މި ނޫން ދުވަހެއް ފެންނާނީ ކޮން ދުވަހަކުންބާވައޭ ހިތަށް އަރާ.” ފުން ނޭވާއަކަށްފަހު، އަންހެނުން ބޭރުކޮށްލި އެ ޖުމުލައަކީ، އަހުމަދަށް އައު ޖުމުލައެއް ނޫނެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އެފަދަ ބަސްތައް ކަންފަތުގައި ޖެހޭ ކޮންމެ ފަހަރަކު އޭނާއަށް އިޙުސާސް ކުރެވެނީ، އޭނާގެ ނުކުޅެދުންތެރިކަމެވެ. ނިކަމެތިކަމާއި ފަޤީރުކަމެވެ. އަނބިދަރީން ނުބެލެހެއްޓޭކަމެވެ. ކުރާނެކަމެއް ނެތެވެ. ކޮޓަރީ ކުލިދައްކާފައި، މުޅި މަހުގެ ޚަރަދަށް އޮންނަނީ ހާހެއްހައި ރުފިޔާއެވެ.
ގެއިން ނިކުތްއިރު، އަހުމަދުގެ ދެ ލޯ ހުރީ ފެންކަޅިވެފައެވެ. ޖީބުން ރުމާ ނަގައި ދެ ލޯ ފޮހެލުމަށްފަހު، އޭނާ އަވަސް އަވަހަށް ހިނގައިގެންފިއެވެ. އެޅުނީ ދެތިން ފިޔަވަޅެކެވެ. ޖީބުގައި އޮތް ނޮކިޔާ ބައްތިފޯނުގެ ރިންގުގެ އަޑު އޭނާގެ ކަންފަތުގައި ޖެހުނެވެ. އޭނާ ފޯނު ނެގީ ކަންބޮޑުވެފައި ހުރެގެންނެވެ. އަނެއްކާ ވެސް ކޮންމެވެސް އެއްޗެއް ނެތް ވާހަކަ ބުނަން އަންހެނުން ގުޅަނީ ކަމަށް ހީކޮށްފައެވެ. އަތުގައި މިހާރު އޮތީ ސަތޭކަ ފަންސާހެއްހައި ރުފިޔާއެވެ. އެއިން ގަންނަންވާނީ ހަމަ ކޮންމެހެން ގަންނަން މަޖުބޫރު އެއްޗެކެވެ. ކުރިއަށް އޮތް ހަފުތާހެއްހައި ދުވަހު އެއިން ހިފަހައްޓަން ޖެހޭނެއެވެ.
ގުޅީ އަންހެނުންނެއް ނޫނެވެ. ނުދަންނަ ނަންބަރަކުންނެވެ. އަހުމަދު ފޯނު ކަންފަތުގައި ޖައްސައިލިއެވެ. އިވުނީ ފިރިހެނެއްގެ އަޑެވެ. ވާހަކަދައްކަން ފެށީ އިނގިރޭސި ބަހުންނެވެ. ނަން އެހުމުން އަހުމަދު ނަންބުނެފިއެވެ. އެ އަޑުގައި ހުރީ ގާތް ގޮތެކެވެ. ހީވަނީ މާ ކުރީންވެސް ދަންނަ އެކުވެރިއެއް ހެންނެވެ.
“އަހުމަދަށޭ މި ގުޅަނީ ވެސް. މަށަކީ ޖަޕާނު މީހެއް. މަ މިހުރީ ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގަ. މަ ބޭނުންވަނީ މި ގައުމުގައި ރަނގަޅު ވިޔަފާރިއެއް ފަށަން.” ޖަޕާނުމީހާ ވާހަކަދައްކަމުން ގެންދިޔައީ އިނގިރޭސި ބަހުންނެވެ. އަހުމަދަށް ހުރެވުނީ އަޑުއަހާށެވެ. “އެހެންވީމާ އަހުމަދުގެ އެހީތެރިކަން އަހަރެން ބޭނުން.”
“ކީކޭ؟ މަށަށް ހީވަނީ ނުބައި ނަންބަރަކަށްހެން ގުޅިގެން ތި އުޅެނީ.” ސުވާލު ފުންޏެއްގެ ތެރޭގައި ހުރެ ކުރިއަށް ފިޔަވަޅު އަޅަމުން އަހުމަދު ބުންޏެވެ.
“ނޫނޭ! ތީ ހަމަ އަހަރެން ބޭނުންވެގެން މި އުޅޭ މީހާ. އަހަރެންނަށް ޖަޕާނުން ރައްޓެއްސަކު ދިން ނަންބަރެއް މީ. އޭނަ ބުނި އަހުމަދޭ ކިޔާނީ ވެސް. އަހަރެން ބޭނުންވަނީ އަހުމަދަށް ޝެއަރ ދީގެން ރަނގަޅު ވިޔަފާރިއެއް ފަށަށް.”
“އެކަމަކު އަހަންނަކީ ވިޔަފާރިއެއް ކޮށްއުޅޭ މީހެއް ނޫނޭ! ރަނގަޅަށް ނަންބަރު ޗެކުކޮށްލަންވީނު.”
އެހައިތަނުން އޭނާ މާ ބޮޑު ވާހަކައެއް ދެއްކުމެއް ނެތެވެ. މަޑުކޮށްލާށޭ ބުނެފައި، ފޯނު ދިނީ އެހެން މީހެއްގެ އަތަށެވެ. އެއީ ދިވެއްސެކެވެ. އޭނާ ވަގުތުން ވާހަކަ ދައްކަންފެށިއެވެ. ގާތްކަމާއި އެކުވެރިކަމުގެ ރާގެއްގައެވެ.
“އަހުމަދަށް އެނގޭތަ؟ މި ޖަޕާނުމީހާއަކީ ބޮޑު މަހުޖަނެއް. މަށަކީ ވެސް މިހާރު އޭނާގެ މުވައްޒިފެއް. އެކަމަކު އަދި ނޯވޭ އެއްވެސް ކަމެއް. މަށަށް ދުވާލަކު ދޭ ސަތޭކަ ޑޮލަރު. ތި ކަހަލަ ބަހަނާތައް ނުދައްކާ މަށަށް ފެންނަނީ މީނައާ ގުޅެން. ދިރިއުޅުން ބަދަލުކޮށްލަން ލިބޭ މި ކަހަލަ ޗާސެއް ނަގައިލާކަށް ނުވާނެ.”
ވާހަކަ މިހާހިސާބަށް ދިޔައިރު ސްކޫލާ ހަމައަށް އަހުމަދަށް އާދެވިއްޖެއެވެ.
“ފަހުން ގުޅައިލަންވީނު! މިހާރު މި ވަންނަނީ ދަރިފުޅު ބަލައި ސްކޫލަށް.” އަހުމަދު ފޯނު ކަނޑައިލިއެވެ.
ފޯނު ޖީބަށްލިއެއްކަމަކު، އަހުމަދުގެ ކަންފަތުގައި ގުގުމަމުން ދިޔައީ، ފޯނުން އިވުނު އިނގިރޭސި ޖުމުލަތަކާއި ދިވެހި ޖުމުލަތަކެވެ. ދަރިފުޅު ގޮވައިގެން ސްކޫލުން ނިކުތްއިރު ވެސް، އެހެން ޚިޔާލަކަށް އޭނާގެ ސިކުނޑިއަކުން ޖާގައެއް ނުލިބުނެވެ.
“ބައްޕާ!” އަތުގައި ހިފައި ތަޅުވައިގަންނަމުން ތަންކޮޅެއް ބާރަށް ދަރިފުޅު ގޮވައިލިއެވެ. “ބައްޕައަށް ކިހިނެއްވެފައި ތިހިރީ؟ އަޅުގަނޑު ކިހައިއިރެއް ގޮވައިތާ.”
“ކީކޭ ދަރިފުޅާ!” އަހުމަދަށް ފުން ނޭވާއެއް ދޫކޮށްލެވުނެވެ.
“މާދަމާ ސްކޫލަށް ދާއިރު ކޮންމެ ކުއްޖަކު 50 ރުފިޔާ ގެންދަން ޖެހޭ.”
“ހޫނ!” އިތުރު އެއްޗެއް އަހުމަދު ނުބުނެއެވެ. ބުނާނީ ވެސް ކީކޭހެއްޔެވެ؟
ދަރިފުޅު ގެއަށް ލާފައި ނިކުމެ މާ ގިނައިރެއް ނުވެއެވެ. އަނެއްކާވެސް އެއްކަލަ ނަންބަރުން ގުޅައިފިއެވެ. ވާހަކަ ދެއްކީ ހަމަ ކުރީގެ މަޢުޟޫއަށެވެ. އަހުމަދަށް ހުރެވުނީ ދެކޮޅަށް ކިރިކިރިއެވެ. އެފަދަ ވަރުގަދަ ވިޔަފާރިއަކަށް ހޮވަން އޭނާ އެއީ ކާކު ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ރައްކާކޮށްފައި އެއްޗެއް ނެތްތާނގައި، މަހުން މަހަށް ޚަރަދުކޮށްލާނެ އެއްޗެއް ވެސް ހުރި މީހެއް ނޫނެވެ.
“ތިކަހަލަ ތެދުވެރި މީހަކު އަހަރެމެން ބޭނުންވަނީ.”
“ކިހިނެއް އަހަންނަކީ ތެދުވެރިއެއްކަން އެނގެނީ؟” ޖަޕާނުމީހާއާ އަހުމަދު ސުވާލުކުރިއެވެ.
“އަހަރެންގެ އެކުވެރިޔާ އަހަންނަކަށް ދޮގެއް ނުހަދާނެ. އެއީ އަހުމަދުގެ ވެސް ވަރަށް ގާތް ރައްޓެއްސެއް.”
“ކާކު؟” އަވަސް އަވަހަށް އަހުމަދަށް އަހައިލެވުނެވެ.
“ބާކީ ހުރި ވާހަކަތައް ދިމާވެގެން ދައްކަމާ.”
މި ނޫން ދުވަހެއް ދެކެން އަހުމަދު ވެސް ބޭނުންވެއެވެ. ރަނގަޅު ގޮތެއް ވެއްޖިއްޔާ ކިތަންމެހައި ވެސް ރަނގަޅެވެ. މައްސަލައަކީ ކުރަންވީ ކަމެއް ނޭނގޭތީއެވެ. ނުކުރެވޭވަރުގެ ކަމެއް ހަމަ ގައިމުވެސް ހަވާލު ނުކުރާނޭ ކަމަށް އޭނާ އެވަނީ ބުނެފައެވެ. މައްސަލައެއް ނެތެވެ. ދާނީއެވެ. ހުށައަޅާ ޝަރުތު ކަމުނުދަންޏާ ދިޔަ މަގުން އެނބުރި އާދެވިދާނެތާއެވެ. ފޯނުކޯލު ނިންމައިލީ އެރޭ ބައްދަލުވުމަށް ގަޑި ހަމަޖެއްސުމަށް ފަހުގައެވެ.
“މަށަކަށް ނުފެނޭ ދާކަށް.” އަހުމަދުގެ އަންހެނުން ދެކޮޅު ހެދިއެވެ. “ވަރަށް މަކަރުވެރި މީހުން މިހާރު އުޅޭނެ. ކޮންމެ ފަދަ ލަނޑެއް ވެސް ދީފާނެ.”
“ޖަޕާނު މީހުންނަކީ ވަރަށް ޑިސިޕްލީން ބައެއް.” އަހުމަދު އިތުބާރު ކުރީ ޖަޕާނު މީހާއަށެވެ.
“ކުރީ ދުވަހަކު ވެސް ރައްޓެއްސަކު ބުނި އޭނާގެ ތިމާގެ މީހެއްގެ އަތުން ބަޔަކު ފައިސާތަކެއް ޓެކުނު ވާހަކަ.”
“މަގޭ އަތަކު ނުހުންނާނެ މީހަކު ޓެކޭނެ ފައިސާއެއް.” ޝާޢިރާގެ މޫނަށް ބަލައިލުމަށްފަހު، އަހުމަދު ގޮސް ވަނީ ކޮޓަރިއަށެވެ.
އެރޭގެ އަށްގަޑިބައި އެހައިކަންހައި އިރެވެ. ތައްޔާރުވެލައިގެން އަންހެނުންގެ ނުރުހުމުގައި ނަމަވެސް، އަހުމަދު އެ ނިކުތީ، އޭނާގެ ހަޔާތް ބަދަލުކޮށްލާނެ ބައްދަލުވުމަށް ދިއުމަށެވެ. ހަމަޖެހިފައި އޮތް ގޭގެ ދޮރާށި ދޮށަށް ގޮސްފައި އަހުމަދު ގުޅައިލިއެވެ. އޭނާގެ ސިކުނޑީގައި ދެ ފަހަރު ދަނީ ދެ އަޑަކުން ދެ ރާގަކަށް ރަނގަބީލު ޖެހެމުންނެވެ. ބައެއް ފަހަރު އުފާވެރި ރާގު ކުޅެއެވެ. ބައެއް ފަހަރު ބިރުވެރި އަޑުތައް އިއްވައެވެ.
“ހުޅުވާފަ ހުންނާނީ. ވަދޭ!” އަހުމަދު ގުޅައިލުމާއެކު އެ ކޮޅުން ބުނެފިއެވެ.
އަހުމަދު މަޑުމަޑުން ގޮސް ދޮރާށީގެ ތަޅުގައި ހިފައިލިއެވެ. ހުރީ ހުޅުވާފައެވެ. އޭނާ މަޑުމަޑުން ބޯ ދިއްކޮށް އެތެރެއަށް ބަލައިލިއެވެ. ގޯތިތެރެއަށް ވެރިވެފައި އޮތީ އަލި ފަނޑު ބޮތްކެއްގެ މިލަ އައްޔެކެވެ. ކުރިމަތީގައި ހުރީ އާދައިގެ ފެންވަރަކަށް ހަދާފައި ހުރި ބާ ގެއެކެވެ. ދޮރު ހުރީ ލައްޕާފައެވެ. ފާރުގައި ހުދުކުލަ ލާފައި ހުރި ނަމަވެސް ބޮޑުބައިގައި ހުރީ ފެހިޖަހާފައެވެ. އޭނާއަށް ހުރެވުނީ ހުއްޓުންއަރާފައެވެ. ހަދާނޭ ގޮތަކާމެދު ވިސްނެނީއެވެ.
އިރުކޮޅަކު އެހެން ހުރެފައި އަހުމަދު އެތެރެއަށް ވަދެއްޖެއެވެ. މަޑު ފިޔަވަޅުތަކެއްގައެވެ. އޭނާގެ މޭ ތެޅެއެވެ. ބައެއްފަހަރު ހިތް ބުނެއެވެ. މި ހެދެނީ ގޯހެކެވެ. ބައެއް ފަހަރު ހިތް ބުނެއެވެ. ނޫނެކެވެ. މިއީ ނަސީބުގެ ފުރަތަމަ ފިޔަވަޅެވެ. މި ދޮރާށިން ނުކުންނައިރު ނަސީބުގެ ތަރި ހުންނާނީ މެދު އުޑުގައެވެ.
“ދޮރު ހުޅުވާފައި ވަދެބަލަ! ތިހާ ފިނޑިވެގެން މުއްސަންޖެއް ނުވެވޭނެ.” އެއްޗެއް ބުނާނެ ފުރުޞަތެއް ނުދީ ފޯނު ކަނޑާލައިފިއެވެ.
އެ ބުނި ޖުމުލައާމެދު އަހުމަދު ވިސްނައިލިއެވެ. އެއީ ރަނގަޅު ވާހަކައެކެވެ. ފިނޑީންނަކަށް މި ދުނިޔެއަކުން ޖާގައެއް ނޯންނާނެއެވެ. ކަމެއް ކާމިޔާބުވާނީ ކެރިގެން ކުރިމަތި ލައިގެންނެވެ. މިހާރު މިހިރަ މާބޮޑަށް ފިނޑިވެވެނީއެވެ.
އަހުމަދު ވަރަށް ހަމަޖެހިލައިގެން ހުރެ، ގެއާ ދިމާއަށް ހިނގައިގެންފިއެވެ. ދޮރު ހުޅުވައިލުމަށްފަހު ވަދެއްޖެއެވެ. ހުރެވުނީ ސިޓިންރޫމެކޭ ބުނާވަރަށްވުރެ ކުޑަ ތަންކޮޅެއްގައެވެ. ބާވެފައި ހުރި ސޯފާސެޓަކާއި ކަޅު ލަކުޑީގެ، އެއް ދޮރުފަތް ނެއްޓިފައި ހުރި އަލަމާރިގަނޑެއް ހުއްޓެވެ. ކުރިމަތީން ފެންނާން އޮތީ ކުޑަވަރެއްގެ ސަރައްކާއްޔެކެވެ. ފަރާތެއްގައި ދެ ކޮޓަރި ހުރިކަމަށް ލާފާކުރެވެއެވެ. އެއްވެސް މީހަކު ފެންނާކަށް ނެތެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ކިތަންމެ ހިތްވަރު ގަދަކޮށްގެން ހުންނަން އުޅުނު ނަމަވެސް މޭގެ ތެޅުމަކަށް ބަދަލެއް ނާދެއެވެ.
ތެޅިތެޅި އޮތް ހިތަކާއެކު، އެހެނަސް ޖެހިލުމެއްނެތްކަން ދައްކަމުން، ސަރައްކާއްޔާ ދިމާއަށް އަހުމަދު ހިނގައިގެންފިއެވެ. އެ މީހުން ތިބޭނީ އެފަރާތުގައި ކަމަށް ނިންމައިގެންނެވެ. ފުރަތަމައަށް ހުރި ކޮޓަރީ ދޮރާ ހަމައަށް އަހުމަދަށް އެރުނު ވަގުތު، ކުއްލިއަކަށް ކަނާތްފަރާތުގައި ހުރި ކޮޓަރީގެ ދޮރު ހުޅުވިއްޖެއެވެ. ނިކުތީ ވަރުހެސަ ދެ ފިރިހެނުންނެވެ. ހަނި ފުރުސަތެއް ވެސް ދިނުމެއް ނެތި، އަހުމަދުގެ ގައިގައި ހިފަހައްޓައިފިއެވެ. އެކަކު ފުރަގަހުން ބެއްދުމާއެކު އަނެކަކު އަތް އެޅީ އަނގަމަތީގައެވެ.
ޝާޢިރާއަށް ރޮއިގަނެވުނެވެ. ލިބުނު ހިތްދަތި ބިރުވެރި ޚަބަރެއްގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ. އަހުމަދުގެ ފުރާނަ މިއަދު އޭނާއަށް މިޖެހެނީ ވިހިހާސް ރުފިޔާ ދީފައި ގަންނާށެވެ. އެހައި ގިނަ ފައިސާ ހޯދާނީ ކޮންތަނަކުންހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަހުމަދުގެ ފޯނު އޮތީ ނިވާލާފައެވެ. ޝާޢިރާއަށް ހަދާނެ ނުހަދާނެ ގޮތެއް ނޭނގި އިނދެފައި ގުޅުނީ، އޭނާގެ ބައްޕައަށެވެ. ބައްޕަ ހުރީ ރަށުގައެވެ. ބައްޕައަކީ ވެސް ލިބޭ އެއްޗަކުން ކިރިޔައި ފުދިގެން އުޅޭ މަސްވެރިއެކެވެ.
“ފުލުހުންނަށް ގުޅަންވީނު.” ބައްޕަގެ ހާސްކަން ބޮޑުވިއެވެ.
“ފުލުހުންނަށް އަންގައިފިއްޔާ އަހުމަދު މަރާލާނަމޯ.” ޝާއިރާއަށް ވާހަކަދައްކާކަށް ފަސޭހައެއް ނޫނެވެ.
“އެކަމަކު ދަރިފުޅާ! ކިހިނެއް ތިހާ ފައިސާ ހޯދާނީ ވެސް.”
ނޭވާ ހާސްވާހެން ހީވާން ފެށުމުން ޝާޢިރާ ނިކުތީ ބޭރަށެވެ. ނިދާފައި އޮތް، އަށް އަހަރުގެ ދަރފުޅުގެ މަޢުޞޫމު މޫނަށް ބަލައިލުމަށްފަހުގައެވެ. އޭރުވެސް އޭނާގެ ދެ ލޮލުން ހިފެހެއްޓުމެއް ނެތި ކަރުނަ އޮހެމުން ދެއެވެ. މޭ ހީވަނީ ފަޅައިގެން ހިނގައިދާނެ ހެންނެވެ.
“މިރޭ ބާރައިގެ ކުރީން ފައިސާގެ ކަންތައް ހަމަޖެހެންވާނެ. އެހެންނޫނީ މާދަމާ ނޫސްތަކުގެ ފަލަ ސުރުޚީއަކަށްވާނީ ހެދިގޮނޑުދޮށުން މަރުވެފައި އޮތް މީހަކު ފެނުނު ވާހަކަ.”
“ހެޔޮނުވާނެ! އަހަރެންގެ ފިރިމީހާ ދޫކޮށްލަދީ! އާދޭސްކޮށްފަ މި ބުނީ.” ޝާޢިރާއަށް ރޮއިގަނެވުނެވެ.
“ދޫކޮށްލަން ބޭނުންވާތީއޭ މި ގުޅަނީ ވެސް.”
“މަށަކަށް ނުލިބޭނެ ތިހާ ފައިސާއެއް.” ޝާއިރާއަށް ގިސްލެވެމުން ދެއެވެ.
“އާއިލާގެ މީހުންނާ ރައްޓެހިންނާ ގުޅައިގެން ވިޔަސް އަވަހަށް ހަމަކުރޭ! ވަގުތު ފާއިތުވެދާނެ.”
އެ މީހާ ފޯނު ކަނޑައިލައިފިއެވެ. ޝާޢިރާ ވަގުތުން އެނަންބަރަށް ގުޅިއެވެ. އޮތީ ނިވާލާފައެވެ. ތިން ހަތަރު ފަހަރު ގުޅައިގެން ވެސް ނުގުޅުނެވެ. އޭނާ ދޮރާށި ދޮށަށް ނިކުތީ ކޮންމެވެސް މަގެއް ފަހިވޭތޯއެވެ. ފައިސާކޮޅެއް ދޭނެ މީހަކު ވޭތޯއެވެ.
