އާ އެއްޗެއް އަތަށް އެރުމުން އެ އެއްޗެއްވާނީ ހަމަ “އާ” އެއްޗަކަށެވެ. ފެންނާނީ އާ އެއްޗެއްގެ ސިފައިގައެވެ. ބެލޭނީ އާ އެއްޗަކަށް ބަލާހެންނެވެ. ކުޅެވޭނީ ވެސް އާ އެއްޗަކާ ކުޅެވޭ ގޮތަށެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ގިނަފަހަރަށް އޮންނަނީ އެ އެއްޗަކާ ކުޅެން ނޭނގިފައެވެ. އެނގޭނީ މީހެއްގާތު އަހައި، އޮޅުން ފިލުވައިގެންނެވެ. ނޫނީ ޖެހޭނީ ކުޅެކުޅެ ދަސްކުރާށެވެ. މި ގޮތަށް ދަސްވާއިރު، ގިނަފަހަރަށް އޮންނަނީ އެ އެއްޗެއް ހަލާކުވެ ވެފައެވެ. ނޫނީ އެއަށްވުރެ ބޮޑު އެހެންކަމެއް އޭގެ ސަބަބުން ކުރިމަތިވެފައެވެ.
މި ލިޔުމުގައި އަޅުގަނޑުގެ އެކުވެރިއަކީ އެންމެ ސާދަ ވަރަކަށް އަހަރުގެ ކުޑަކުޑަ އާތިފާއެވެ. އޭނާ ކިޔަވަނީ މާލޭގެ ނަން މަޝްހޫރު އިސްކޫލުތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އިސްކޫލެއްގެ އަށްވަނަ ކުލާހުގައެވެ. ކިޔެވުމަށް ފޯރި ހުންނަ މަންޖެއެކެވެ. ނުވީތާކަށް އިތުރު ހަރަކާތްތަކަށް މަރެކެވެ. އަތް ފައި ހިމަވެފައި، ހަށިގަނޑު ކަމީނާ ވިޔަސް، ދިގު އިސްކޮޅެއް ލިބިފައިވާތީ ވެސް ތޯއްޗެކެވެ. ކުޅިވަރަށް ހުންނަ ފޯރި ހުންނަނީ މެދު އުޑުގައެވެ. ޑާންސެކޭ ބުނެފިނަމަ، ދެން ނިމުނީއެވެ. ލޮލަށް ނިންޖެއް ނާންނާނެއެވެ. އަތުވެއްޖިއްޔާ ދެން ވާނޭ ގޮތެއް އެނގޭނީ އެހައި ހިސާބަށް ދިޔައިމައެވެ.
ދުވަސްވަރަކީ އެ އަހަރުގެ އުފާވެރި މިނިވަން ދުވަހަށްޓަކައި މާލެ ތައްޔާރުވަމުން ދިޔަ ދުވަސްވަރެވެ. އާތިފާ ކިޔަވަމުން ދިޔަ އިސްކޫލު ވެސް އަންނަނީ އެ ކަމަށް ފޯރިއާއެކު ތައްޔާރު ވަމުންނެވެ. މި ދުވަސްވަރު އާތިފާމެންގެ ފޯރި ހުރީ، ކިޔެވުމަކަށް ނޫނެވެ. އެ އަހަރު އިސްކޫލުން ހުށައެޅުމަށްޓަކައި ތައްޔާރުވަމުން ދިޔަ ނެށުމުގެ ހަރަކާތަށެވެ. ނެށުމޭ ބުނުމާއެކު އޭނާ ވަނީ ބައިވެރިވުމަށްޓަކައި ނަންނޯޓުކޮށްފައެވެ.
މިހާރު ރެއާއި ދުވާލު އާތިފާގެ އެންމެ ޚާއްޞަ ކަމަކަށް އޮތީ ނެށުމެވެ. ހޭލާ ހުންނައިރުގައްޔާއި ނިދާފައި އޮންނައިރު ވެސް މެއެވެ. ކުރާ ކޮންމެކަމެއް ވެސް ކުރެވެނީ ނެށުމެއްގެ ތެރެއިންނޭ ބުންޏަސް ފާފައަކަށް ނުވާނެއެވެ. ހިނގަނީ ވެސް އާ ފާޑަކަށްހެން ހީވެއެވެ. ނެށުމުގެ ބަނޑިތައް، އިރުއިރުކޮޅާ އައިސް އޭނާގެ އެ ހިމަހޯއްދުން ހަށިގަނޑާ ސަމާސާ ކުރަނީ، އެހެން މީހުން ކަންބޮޑުވާން ޖެހޭފަދަ ދަރަޖަ އަކަށެވެ. ނިދައިފިނަމަ ހުވަފެނުގައި ވެސް އެކަމެވެ.
އިސްކޫލުގެ ފަރާތުން ނެށުން ފަރިތަކުރުން އާންމު ގޮތެއްގައި އޮންނަނީ ފަތިހުއެވެ. އެކަމަށް ޚާއްޞަކުރެވިފައިވާ ތަނަށް ދާންޖެހެނީ ފަތިހު ފަސްގަޑި ބަޔަށެވެ. އެއީ ކިޔެވުމުގެ ވަގުތު އެ ކަމަށް ދުއްވާނުލުމަށްޓަކައި، އިސްކޫލުން ހަމަޖައްސާފައި އޮންނަ ގޮތެކެވެ. ރަނގަޅު ގޮތެކެވެ. އެހެނަސް ހިތާމައަކީ، ވަގުތުގެގޮތުން، ބައެއް ރޭރޭ، ބައެއް ކުދިންނަށް ގަޑިއަށް ނާދެވޭގޮތް ދިމާވުމެވެ. ކުދިން ގަޑިއަށް ޙާޟިރުކުރުމަށް އިސްކޫލުންވަނީ ވަރަށް ބޮޑު އިސްކަމެއް ދީފައިކަން، ގަޑިޖެހިގެން އަންނަ ކުދިންނާ ދޭތެރޭ އަޅާ ފިޔަވަޅުތަކުން އެނގެއެވެ.
ކުދިންނަށް ދޭ އަދަބު ފެނުމުން، އާތިފާ ހުންނަނީ، ގަޑިއަށް އައުމަށް ވަރަށް ބޮޑު އިސްކަމެއް ދީގެންނެވެ. އެފަދަ އަދަބެއް ލިބޭކަށް އޭނާ އެއްގޮތަކަށް ވެސް ނޭދެއެވެ. އެތައް ކުދިންނެއްގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި ގުދަށް ބޭއްވުން، ނުވަތަ “ނީލް ޑައުން” ކޮށްފައި ބޭންދުމަކީ، ހިތުން ރުހުމުން ކުރިމަތިލެވޭނޭ ކަންކަމެއް ނޫންތާއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ކޮންމެ ރެއަކު ކަހަލަ ގޮތަކަށް އާތިފާ ނިދަނީ، ނަށަން ދިޔުމަށްޓަކައި ވާންޖެހޭ ހުރިހައި ތައްޔާރީއެއް ވެގެންނެވެ. ޔުނީފޯމުލުން ފިޔަވައެވެ. ފަހެއް ޖަހަންވާއިރަށް ނުހޭލެވިދާނެތީ، އެހެން ކުއްޖެއްގެ ގާތު ގޮވަން ވެސް ބުނެފައެވެ. އެ ކަމަށްޓަކައި އެ ކުއްޖާއަށް މަހު މުސާރަ ނުދޭކަމެއް ވެސް ނޭނގެއެވެ.
ކޮންމެއަކަސް އެ ކުއްޖާގެ ހިއްވަރާއި މިންނަތުން، އާތިފާއަށް ކޮންމެ ރެއަކު ވެސް ގަޑިއަށް ނަށަން ދެވެއެވެ. ގަޑިޖެހިގެން ލިބެންޖެހޭ އެއްވެސް އިނާމަކާ ހަވާލުވާކަށް ނުޖެހެއެވެ.
ފަތިހުގެ އެކުވެރިޔާ އެއްދުވަހަކު އައިސް ބުނެލި އެއްޗަކުން، އާތިފާގެ ހަތަރެސް ފަޔަށް ފާޑެއްގެ ހީލިގަނޑެއް އަރައިގެންފިއެވެ. އޭނާއަށް ރަށަށް ދާންޖެހުނީޔޯލައެވެ. އާތިފާގެ ބޮލުތެރޭގައި ހީވީ ނިއުކުލިއަރ ބޮމެއް ގޮއްވާލިހެންނެވެ. ހިތް ތެޅެންފެށީ މާ ބާރަކަށެވެ. އެ ވަގުތު އޭނާގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި ސިފަވަމުން ދިޔައީ ފަތިހުގެ ތެތް ފިނިކަމުގެ ތެރޭގައި، ނަށަން އެއްވެފައި ތިބި ފަންސާހަކަށް ފަސްދޮޅަހަކަށް ކުދިންނެވެ. އެ ހުރިހައި ކުދިންގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި އޭނާ އޭނދަ ފެނަންނީ “ނީލް ޑައުން” ކޮށްފައެވެ. ގަޑިޖެހުމުގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ. އެތައް ކުދިންނެއް، ހީނހީނފައި އޭނާއަށް މަލާމާތް ކުރާހެން ވެސް ހީވާން ފަށައިފިއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން އުފަލާއެކު އެކުވެރިޔާ ދަތުރަށް ހަދަމުން ދިޔައިރު، އާތިފާއަށް ހުރެވުނީ ބިރުވެރިކަމެއްގެ ތެރޭގައެވެ.
އާތިފާ މުޅިން ހާސްވެއްޖެއެވެ. ހަދާނޭގޮތް ބޮޑުވެއްޖެއެވެ. އެކަމަކު ފަތިހުގެ އެކުވެރިޔާގާތު، ރަށަށް ނުގޮސް ހުންނާށޭ ބުނަން ކެރޭނެހެއްޔެވެ؟ މި ޗުއްޓީގައި ނުދެވުނިއްޔާ، ދެން އޭނާއަށް ރަށަށް ދެވޭނީ ވެސް، ފަސް ހަމަސް ފަހުންނެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން އޭނާގެ އުފަލަށް ހުރަސް އަޅާކަށް ވެސް ނުކެރުނެވެ.
އާތިފާގެ ހިތުގައި “ނީލް ޑައުން”ގެ ބިރުވެރި ރަނގަބީލު ޖެހިޖެހި ހުއްޓާ އެކުވެރިޔާ ފުރައިފިއެވެ. މި ރޭ ވެސް ފަތިހު ފަރިތަކުރުން އެބަ އޮތެވެ. ފަސްގަޑި ބައިގައެވެ. ނިދުމުގެ ވަގުތު ކުޑަތަންވަމުން ދިޔަދިޔަހެން އާތިފާގެ ހާސްކަމާއި ކަންބޮޑުވުން އައީ އިތުރުވަމުންނެވެ. ހިތް ބިރުގަންނަނީއެވެ. މި އޮތް ހުރިހައި ދުވަހު ފަތިހު ހޭލިއިރު ވެސް އެ ކަމަށް ނަފުސު ހޭނޭގޮތެއް ނުވިއެވެ. ނިދަނީ އަމިއްލަޔަށެވެ. މީހަކު ނިންދަވާކަށް ނުޖެހެއެވެ. އެކަމަކު ސަހަރޯއެވެ. ހޭލަން މި ޖެހެނީ އެހެން މީހެއްގެ އެހީގައެވެ.
ގަޑިން ރޭގަނޑު ނުވަގަޑިބައިވެ ދިހައެއް ޖަހަނީއެވެ. އާތިފާ ހުރީ ނިދުމަށްޓަކައި އިސްކޫލަށް ދާން ތައްޔާރުވާށެވެ. ފެންވަރައިގެން އައިސް މިހާރު އެ އިނީ، ދެ ފަށަށް ބޯ ގަތާށެވެ. އޭރު ވެސް އޭނާގެ ސިކުނޑި ކުރަނީ މުޅިން އެހެން މަސައްކަތެކެވެ. ފަތިހު ހޭލަން ހަދާނޭ ގޮތަކާމެދު ފިކުރު ކުރަނީއެވެ. މޮޅު ގޮތެކޭ ބުނާނެ އައީ ހަމަ އެންމެ ފިކުރެކެވެ. ކޮން ފިކުރެއްކަމަށް ތޯއެވެ. މިރޭ ހަތަރުދަމު ލޮލުފިޔައެއް ނުޖަހައި، ދަމަށް އިނުމެވެ. އެކަމަކު އެއީ މޮޅު ފިކުރެއްބާވައެވެ؟
ކުއްލިއަކަށް ރަނގަޅު ޚިޔާލެއް އަތުވެއްޖެއެވެ. ދައްތަގެ ކޮޓަރީގައި ސޯނާ ގަޑިއެއް އެބަހުއްޓެވެ. މިރޭގެ ފަތިހުގެ އެކުވެރިއަކަށް ހަދާލަން އެއީ ރަނގަޅު ގޮލައެކެވެ. ދައްތަ ވެސް ވީ، ފަތިހުގެ އެކުވެރިޔާ ދިޔަ ބޯޓުން ރަށަށް ގޮހެވެ.
އާތިފާގެ ކުލަމަރުވެ، ހުދުވަމުން ދިޔަ މޫނުމައްޗަށް ލޭގެ ރަތްކުލަ ވެރިވެ، ފަތިހު ފިންޏަށް ފޮޅިފައިވާ ފިނިފެންމަލަކަށް ވެސް ނުލިބޭފަދަ ތާޒާކަން ލިބިގެން ހިނގައްޖެއެވެ. ފުނަލަކަށް ފުނަލެކެވެ. އިސްތަށިގަނޑަކަށް އިސްތަށިގަނޑެކެވެ. ދެ ފައިކޮޅަށް ބާރުލާފައި، އަޅައި އިތިކޮށް ދުއްވައިގަތީ ދައްތަގެ ކޮޓަރިއާ ދިމާއަށެވެ.
ބާވެފައިވާ އެ ސޯނާ ގަޑިގަނޑު ހިފައިގެން އާތިފާ އައިސް ކޮޓަރިއަށް ވަން އިރު، ހީވަނީ އަގުބޮޑު ރަނުގެ ޖަވާހިރެއް ލިބިގެން އައިސް ވަންހެނެވެ. ފަތިހު ފަހެއް ޖަހާއިރަށް ސޯނާ ވާގޮތަށް ގަޑީގެ ކަށިތައް އަނބުރާލައިފިއެވެ. ހިތަށް ލިބިގެންދިޔަ ހަމަޖެހުން ބޮޑުކަމުން ކަންނޭނގެއެވެ. ދެ ލޯ ފުރައި ނިދި އަތުވެއްޖެއެވެ. އެވަގުތު ހިތަށް އެރިއެވެ. މިހައި ފަސޭހަކަމެކެވެ. އެކުވެރިޔާ ދެން ދުވަހަކު ނަޔަސް ހެވެވެ. މިރޭ ނުނިދާ އިންނަން ކުރެވުނު ފިކުރު ހިތަށް އަރާފައި، ހިނި ވެސް އަތުވެއްޖެއެވެ.
ކަންފަތްބުޑުގައި ގަޑި ބަހައްޓައިގެން އާތިފާ ނިދަން އޮށޯވެއްޖެއެވެ. އޭނާއަށް ޚާއްޞަވެފައިވާ ޖަގަހައިގައެވެ. ފަތިހު ގޮވަން ސޯނާ ގަޑިއާ ހަވާލުކޮށްފައެވެ. އިސާހިތަކު ނިދީގެ ފުންކަނޑަށް އޭނާ ގެނބިއްޖެއެވެ.
ބަރާބަރު ފަހެއް ޖެހިއިރު، އެއްކަލަ ސޯނާގަޑި ހަޅޭއްފަޅޭއް ޖަހައިގެންފިއެވެ. އާތިފާއަށް ހީވީ ކަންފަތްބުޑުގައި ހޮނު ގުގުރިއެއް ޖެހިހެންނެވެ. ފަތިހުގެ މީރު ނިދިން ފެންވަރަވަރައި އޮއްވާ، ލިބުނު ކުއްލި ސިހުމާއެކު، އޭނާގެ ހަތަރެސްފައި ކޮޅަށް ޖެހިއްޖެއެވެ. ފުންމައިގެން ތެދުވެވުނުއިރު، ދެ ލޯ ހުރީ ފުށްކިބައިގައެވެ. އެ ދެ ލޮލުގައި ހުރި ނިދީގެ ލަޝްކަރު، ދުވެ ރައްކާވި ދިމާއެއް ވެސް އެނގޭނީ، ހަމަ އެ ލަޝްކަރަށެވެ.
ކޮޓަރިއަށް އަރައިގެންދިޔަ އަޑުފަށްގަނޑު ގަދަކަމުން އާތިފާއަށް ފުރަތަމަ ވެސް ބަލައިލެވުނީ، ކޮޓަރީގައި ނިދާފައި ތިބި، ކުޑަ ދެ ކުދިންނާ ދިމާއަށެވެ. ސޯނާގެ އަޑު ކަނޑައިލަން އޮބައިލާ “ބަޓަން” އޭނާއަށް ވަނީ ތަންކޮޅެއް ކުރީދުވަހަކު ދައްތަގެ ކިބައިން އެނގިފައެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން އޭނާ އަވަސްއަވަހަށް، އެ ބަޓަނަށް އޮބާލައިފިއެވެ. ވަގުތުން އަޑު ކެނޑިއްޖެއެވެ. ކަރުބުޑުން އަޑުނެރިގެން ހަޅޭއްލަވަމުން ދިޔަ މީހެއްގެ ކަރުގައި ހިފިކަހަލައެވެ. އޭނާއަށް މޭގައި އަތް އަޅައި ލެވުނެވެ. ހަމަޖެހުމުގެ ފުން ނޭވާއެއް ލެވުނެވެ. އެއިން ކުއްޖަކު ހޭލުމުގެ ކުރިން މިކަމުން ސަލާމަތް ވެވުނީތީއެވެ.
ގަޑީގެ އެ ބަޓަންގައި އަތް އަޅައި އޮބައިލި ގޮތަށް، އެއިން އަތް ދޫކޮށްނުލައި، އާތިފާއަށް އިނދެވުނެވެ. ސޯނާގެ އަޑު ފަށްގަނޑާއެކު ހިތަށް އެރި ލޮޅުން ހަމައަކަށް އަޅުވައިލަނީ ކަންނޭނގެއެވެ. އިރުކޮޅަކު އެހެން އިނުމަށްފަހު އޭނާ ގަސްދުކުރީ، ތައްޔާރުވުމަށްޓަކައި އަވަހަށް ތެދުވާށެވެ. އެތަނުން ތެދުވުމަށްޓަކައި ގަޑީގެ ބަޓަނުން އަތް ހިއްލައިލުމާއެކު، ސޯނާގެ ގަދަފަދަ އަޑުން މުޅި ކޮޓަރިތެރެ އަނެއްކާ ވެސް ފޫ ދުއްވާލައިފިއެވެ. ލިބުނު ކުއްލި ސިހުމާއެކު އާތިފާއަށް އުޅެވުނު ނޫޅެވުނު ގޮތެއްވެސް ނޭނގުނެވެ. މުޅި އެ ހިސާބުގައި ހަތަރެސްފައިން ބަކަތަޅައިގަތް ހެން ވެސް ހީވިއެވެ. ކޮންމެ ހާލަކުން ނަމަވެސް އެއްކަލަ ބަޓަންގައި އަތް އަޅައި އޮބާލައިފިއެވެ. ހަމައެއާއެކު މުޅި ކޮޓަރިއަށް ހަމަހިމޭންކަން ވެރިވެއްޖެއެވެ.
އާތިފާގެ މޭ ވަރަށް ބާރަށް ތެޅެމުންދެއެވެ. ހީވެސް ނުކުރާ ކަހަލަ ދަނޑިވަޅެއްގައި އެފަދަ ގަދަފަދަ އަޑެއް ކުއްލިއަކަށް ގުގުމައިގަތުމުންނެވެ. ކޮންމެވެސް ވަރަކަށް ދާ ވެސް ހިއްލައިފިއެވެ. އޭނާ އެ އިނީ ބަޓަނުން އަތް ދޫކޮށްލަން ނުކެރިފައެވެ. އިރުކޮޅަކު އެހެން އިންދާ އަނެއްކާ ވެސް ހަނދާނަށް އައީ ވަގުތު ކުޑަތަން ވަމުން އަންނަކަމެވެ. ހިތާ ހިތުން އެތައް ދުޢާއެއް ކުރުމަށްފަހު ގަޑީގެ ބަޓަނުން މަޑުމަޑުން އަތް ހިއްލާލައިފިއެވެ. މާތް ކަލާކޯއެވެ. މިފަހަރުވެސް ހީވީ ކޮޓަރިތެރެއަށް ހޮނުގުގުރިއެއް ޖެހިހެންނެވެ. އަވަސް އަވަހަށް ބަޓަންގައި އަތް އަޅައި އޮބާލުމާއެކު، އަޑު ކެނޑި ހަމަހިމޭން ވެއްޖެއެވެ.
މި ދިމާވިކަމަކުން އާތިފާ މުޅިން ގޮތް ހުސްވެއްޖެއެވެ. ގަޑި ޖެހެނީއެވެ. އަދި ތައްޔާރުވާން ވެސް އެބަޖެހެއެވެ. ޔުނީފޯމް ލާން ޖެހެއެވެ. ބޫޓަށް އަރަން ޖެހެއެވެ. މި ގަޑިގަނޑަކުން ސަލާމަތެއް ނުވެވުނެވެ. ހަދާނީ ކިހިނެއްބާވައެވެ؟ އެ ފަކީރުގެ މޫނަށް ބަލައިލުމުން ހަމްދަރުދީން ފުރޭވަރު ވެއެވެ.
އިރުކޮޅަކު އެހެން އިނދެފައި، ކޮޓަރީގެ އެކި ދިމާއަށް އާތިފާ ނަޒަރު ހިންގާލައިފިއެވެ. ދެން ފެނުނީ، އަތުޖެހޭ ފަށުގައި އޮތް މޮނީޓަރ ފޮތަކާ ދިމާއަށް އަތް ގެންދާތަނެވެ. ފޮތް ނަގައިފިއެވެ. އޭރުވެސް އަނެއް އަތް އޮތީ، ގަޑީގެ ބަޓަން މަތީގައެވެ.
ފޮތް ގެނެސް ވަރަށް ފަރުވާތެރިކަމާއެކު، ގަޑީގެ ބަޓަން މަތީގައި ބާއްވާފައި، ވަރަށް ވިސްނައިގެން ހުރެ މަޑުމަޑުން އަތް ދޫކޮށްލައިފިއެވެ. ހަމަ އެއާއެކު އަނެއްކާ ވެސް ގަޑި ހޭރިގެންފިއެވެ. ފޮތް ވެސް ވެއްޓިއްޖެއެވެ. އަތިފާއަށް ޖެހުނީ ތެޅި ފޮޅިގެންފައި، އަވަސް އަވަހަށް ބަޓަނަށް ފިތައިލާށެވެ. އޭރު ގަޑިން ފަސްގަޑި ފަނަރަ ހިނގައިފިއެވެ. “ނީލްޑައުން” ކޮށްފައި ތިބޭ ކުދިން ހިތަށް ސިފަވަމުން ދިޔަ ދިޔަހެން، ހިތުގެ ތެޅުން ބާރުވަމުން އަވަސް ވަމުން އާދެއެވެ.
