އަލްފާޟިލް އިބުރާހިމް މުޙައްމަދުދީދީއަކީ ވެލާނާގޭ އަލްފާޟިލް ހަސަން ވެލާނާ މަނިކުފާނާއި އެސްޖެހި ގަނޑުވަރު ކަޅު ސީދީގެ ސިއްތިއާ ދެ ކަނބަލުންނަށް ލިބި ވަޑައިގެންނެވި، ވެލާނާގޭ މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީ ގެ ފަސްދަރިކަލުންގެ ތެރެއިން، ދެވަނަ ދަރިކަލެވެ. ދެން ތިއްބެވި ބޭފުޅުންނަކީ ތުއްތު ދީދީއާއި، އަހުމަދު ދީދީއާއި، މެދު ދީދީއާއި، ޅަދީދީއެވެ. އިބުރާހިމް މުޙައްމަދުދީދީގެ މަންމާފުޅަކީ މަޝްހޫރު އަތިރީގޭ އަލީ ދޮށިމޭނާ ކިލެގެފާނުގެ އިބުރާހިމް ދޮށިމޭނާ ކިލެގެފާނަށް ލިބިވަޑައިގެންނެވި 4 ބޭފުޅުންގެ ތެރޭގައި އިންނެވި ހަމަ އެކަނި އަންހެން ދަރިކަނބަލުން އަދި ދޮށީ ދަރިކަނބަލުން ކަމަށްވާ، އަތިރީގޭ އައްނަބީލާ ތުއްތު ދޮން ދީދީއެވެ. ދެން ތިއްބެވީ، އަހުމަދު ދޮށިމޭނާ ކިލެގެފާނާއި އަބުދުލް މަޖީދު ރަންނަބަނޑޭރި ކިލެގެފާނާއި، އަބުދުލް ހަމީދު އަފަންދީއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން އިބުރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީއަކީ ވެލާނާގޭ އާއިލާއާއި އަތިރީގޭ އާއިލާއާ ގުޅިވަޑައިގެންފައި ހުންނެވި ބޭފުޅެކެވެ.
ތައުލީމީ ހަޔާތް
އިބުރާހިމް ދީދީގެ ތައުލީމީ ހަޔާތާ މެދު މާބޮޑު އެއްޗެއް އޮޅުން ފިލާކަށް ނެތެވެ. މުޙައްމަދު އަމީން (1953) ވިދާޅުވާ ގޮތުން، އިބުރާހިމް ދީދީ ވަނީ، އެއިރު މާލޭން ތައުލީމް ހާސިލު ކުރެވެން އޮތް އެންމެ މައްޗަކަށް ތައުލީމް ހާސިލު ކުރައްވާފައެވެ. ރާއްޖޭން ބޭރު އެއްވެސް ގައުމަކުން ތައުލީމު ހާސިލު ކުރައްވާފައި ވާކަން ތާރީޚީ ލިޔުމަކުން ފެނިފައެއް ނެތެވެ. އިބުރާހީމް ޝިހާބު (1990) ވިދާޅުވެފައިވަނީ، އިބުރާހީމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީ ރާއްޖޭން ބޭރު އެއްވެސް ގައުމަކުން ތަޢުލީމް ހާޞިލް ނުކުރައްވާ ކަމަށެވެ.
މިޒާޖުފުޅު:
މުޙައްމަދު އަމީން (1953) ވިދާޅުވާގޮތުގައި އިބުރާޙިމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީއަކީ ވެރިއެއްގެ ކިބައިގައި ހުރުން އެންމެ އެކަށީގެންވާ ފަދަ ހަރުދަނާ މިޒާޖެއް ލިބިވަޑައިގެންފައިވާ ވެރިއެކެވެ. މުށްޕުޅު ބާރު ކުރަންވީ ވަގުތަކު މުށްޕުޅު ބާރު ކުރައްވައެވެ. ތުންފުޅު ފިއްތަވަންވީ ފަހަރަކު ތުންފުޅު ފިއްތަވައެވެ. އަދި އެއާއެކު ބަސްފުޅު މަދު، އަމަލީ ބޭފުޅެކެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ސާދާ ސަކަ މިޒާޖެއްގެ ބޭފުޅެކެވެ. އިބުރާހިމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީގެ ހަޤީޤީ މިޒާޖުފުޅު ރަނގަޅަށް އެނގޭނީ، އޭނާ ރަނގަޅަށް ދަންނަ މީހަކަށް ކަމަށް، މުހައްމަދު އަމީނު (1953) ވިދާޅުވެފައި ވެއެވެ. އިބުރާހިމް ޝިހާބު (1990) ހާމަކުރައްވާ ގޮތުގައި އިބުރާހިމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީއަކީ، ވަރަށް އަބުރުވެރި ޙަޔާތެއް ހޭދަކުރެއްވި، ގިނަ ބަޔަކާ ރައްޓެހިކަން ބެހެއްޓެވި، ވިސްނުންފުޅު ތޫނު ބޭފުޅެކެވެ. މީގެ އިތުރުން އިބުރާހިމް ދީދީއަކީ، ރައްޓެހިންނާއި ތިމާގެ ބޭފުޅުންނަށް ވެސް ވަރަށް ހެޔޮކޮށް ހިއްތެވި ބޭފުޅެކެވެ.
ޒަވާޖީ ޙަޔާތްޕުޅު:
އިބުރާހިމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީ ކައިވެނި ފުޅު ބައްލަވައިގަތީ، މާންދޫގޭ ދޮށީ މަނިއްޕުޅުގެ އައްނަބީލާ ފާތުމަތު ހާނިމް (ތުއްތު ގޮމާ) އާއެވެ. މި ކައިވެންޏަށް ތިން ބޭފުޅުން ލިބިވަޑައިގަތެވެ. އެއީ މުހައްމަދު އިބުރާހިމް ދީދީއާއި، އަޙުމަދު އިބުރާހިމް ދީދީއާއި އާމިނަތު އިބުރާހިމް ދީދީއެވެ. ފުރަތަމަ ދަރިކަލުން ލިބިވަޑައިގަތީ އުމުރުންފުޅުން 31 އަހަރު ފުޅުގައެވެ.
ސިޔާސީ ޙަޔާތްޕުޅު:
އިބުރާހިމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީގެ ސިޔާސީ ޙަޔާތް ފެށިފައިވަނީ އޭނާގެ އުމުރުފުޅުން 30 އަހަރު ފުޅުގައެވެ. އެއީ ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ފުރަތަމަ ގާނޫނު އަސާސީ އިއުލާން ކުރެވުމާ ގުޅިގެން އުފެދުނު ގާނޫނޫ ހަދާ މަޖިލިސްގެ ނިލަންދެ އަތޮޅު ދެކުނު ބުރީ ގޮނޑި ލިބިވަޑައިގަތުމާ ގުޅިގެންނެވެ. އޭގެ ފަހުން ކުޑަ ދުވަސްކޮޅަކަށްފަހު، މިލަދުއްމަޑުލު އުތުރުބުރީގެ ގޮނޑި ވެސް ފަޅު ފިލުވާލަދެއްވިއެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އެ ދެ ގޮނޑިން ކުރެ އެއް ގޮނޑީގައި އިންނެވިއިރު ވެސް ގައުމު އޭނާގެ މައްޗަކަށް އާދަޔާޚިލާފު ސަމާލުކަމެއް ނުދެއެވެ. ކުރިން ދެންނެވި ޤާނޫނު އަސާސީ އުވާލެވުނު ހިސާބުން އިބުރާހިމް ދީދީ ސިޔާސީ ދާއިރާއިން ނުފެނި ދުވަސްކޮޅެއް ދިޔައެވެ.
އިބުރާޙިމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީގެ ސިޔާސީ ޙަޔާތްޕުޅުގެ ދެވަނަ ބާބު ފެށުނީ، އަލްއަމީރު ހަސަން ފަރީދު ދީދީ، ވަޒީރުއް ދާޚިލިއްޔާކަމުގެ މަޤާމުގައި ހުންނެވި ދުވަސްވަރުއެވެ. އެއީ މީލާދީން 1940 ވަނަ އަހަރުއެވެ. އެމަނިކުފާނުގެ ހިންގުންތެރިކަމާއި ހިކުމަތު ޢަމަލީ، ގައުމުގެ ކަންކޮޅުތަކުގައި ވިދަންފެށީ، މި ހިސާބުންނެވެ. އެންމެ ފުރަތަމަ އޭނާ ފެނިގެންދިޔައީ، މާފަންނު އަވަށު ވެރިއެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ. ދުވަސްކޮޅެއްފަހުން ގަލޮޅު އަވަށުވެރިއެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި އޭނާ ފެނިގެން ދިޔައެވެ. އޭނާގެ ވެރިކަމުގެ ދަށުން އެ ދެ އަވަށަށް ލިބިގެން ދިޔަ ކުރިއެރުމާއި ފައިދާތަކަކީ، އޭނާގެ ހިންގުންތެރިކަން ދައްކައިދިން ފުރަތަމަ ކަންތަކެވެ.
ދެން އައީ ހިޖުރައިން 1360 ވަނަ އަހަރެވެ. ދިވެހި ދައުލަތުގެ ހުންގާނުގައި، މުހައްމަދު އަމީނު ހިއްޕެވި އަހަރެވެ. މިހާތަނުން އަމީނުގެ އެންމެ އިސް އެއްކަމަކަށް ހެއްދެވީ، މަޙުކަމަތުލް މާލިއްޔާގެ ވަކީލުކަމާއި މަޙުކަމަތުލް އަމަން ޢާންމުގެ ޚާއްޞަ ވަކީލުކަން އިބްރާހީމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީއާ ޙަވާލު ކުރެއްވުމެވެ. މުހައްމަދު އަމީން (1953) ވިދާޅުވެފައި ވަނީ މަހުކަމަތުލް މާލިއްޔާގައި އޭނާއާ އެހީވެ ވަޑައިގަތުމަށް ލިބުނީ، ހިއްމަތްތެރި، އިޚުލާޞްތެރި، މަސްއޫލިއްޔަތު ކޮނޑުފުޅުގައި އަޅުއްވާ، އިބުރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީ ކަމަށެވެ. އަމީނުގެ މި ތަޢުރީފުގެ ބަސްކޮޅުން ދޭހަވަނީ އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީއާމެދު އަމީނު ހިތްޕުޅު ހަމަޖެހިވަޑައިގަންނަވާ މިންވަރެވެ.
މީގެ އިތުރުންވެސް ވަރަށް ގިނަ ތަފާތު މަގާމުތައް އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދުދީދީ ފުރުއްވާފައި ވެއެވެ. އޭގެތެރޭގައި ވަޒީރުއް ދާޚީލިއްޔާ ނުވަތަ ވަޒިރުލް އަޢުޒަމްގެ ގާއިމް މަގާމުގެ އިތުރުން، 7 ނޮވެންބަރު 1942 ގައި ލިބިވަޑައިގެންނެވި މަޙުކަމަތުލް ދާޚިލިއްޔާގެ ވަކީލުކަމާއި ސެނޭޓަރ ކަމުގެ މަގާމާއި ސެނެޓްގެ ޒަޢީމްކަން ހިމެނެއެވެ. އަދި ސިފައިންގެ ވެރިޔާގެ ނާއިބްކަމާއި ޞާޙިބުލް މަޢާލީކަމާއި މަޙުކަމަތުލް ޢަމަން ޢާންމުގެ ވެރިޔާގެ މަގާމާއި 1 ރަޖަބު 1367 ގައި އުފެއްދި ގައުމީ އެކުވެރިކަމުގެ ކުންފުނީގެ ޑިރެކްޓަރުންގެ ބޯޑުމެންބަރުކަންވެސް ހިމެނެ އެވެ.
ވަޒީރުލް އަޢުޒަމްގެ ނާއިބުގެ މަގާމުގައި އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީ ހުންނަވަނިކޮށް، 22 އޭޕްރީލް 1951 ގައި ވަޒީރުއް ޒިރާޢާކަން ލިބިވަޑައިގަތެވެ. މި ދެ މަގާމުގެ ވާޖިބު އަދާކުރައްވަމުން ގެންދަވަނިކޮށް، ޖެހިގެން އައި އަހަރު ޑިސެންބަރު މަހުގެ 31 ވަނަ ދުވަހު ވަޒީރުލް މަޙައްލީކަން ލިބިވަޑައިގަތެވެ. އެއްވަރުގެ ޒިންމާ ބޮޑު މި ތިން މަޤާމް އެއްފަހަރާ ވެސް އިބުރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީ ވަނީ އަދާކުރައްވާފައެވެ.
ސަރުކާރުގެ އެތައް މަގާމްތަކެއް އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީ ފުރުއްވާފައި ވީނަމަވެސް، އޭނާ ފުރުއްވި އެންމެ ޚާއްޞަ، އެންމެ ފަޚުރުވެރި މަގާމަކީ، 1 ޖެނުއަރީ 1953 ގައި އުފެދުނު ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ފުރަތަމަ ޖުމުހޫރިއްޔާގެ ނާއިބްރައީސްކަމުގެ މަގާމާއި ވަޒީރުލް އަޢުޒަމްގެ (ޖުމުހޫރިއްޔާގެ ރައީސްގެ) ނާއިބުގެ މަގާމެވެ.
ޚާއްޞަ ޚިދުމަތްތައް:
އިބުރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީގެ ޚާއްޞަ ޚިދުމަތްތަކަށް ބަލާއިރު، 7 މުޙައްރަމް 1370 ގައި އުފެދުނު ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ފުރަތަމަ ސިޔާސީ ޕާޓީކަމަށްވާ، މުތަގައްދިމް ޕާޓީގެ ނައިބުރައީސެއްގެ ގޮތުން ހަރަކާތްތެރިވެ ވަޑައިގަތް ވަޑައިގަތުމަކީ ފާހަގަކޮށްލެވޭ ޚިދުމަތެކެވެ. މީގެއިތުރުން އެ ޕާޓީގެ ހިންގާ ކޮމެޓީގެ މެންބަރުކަމާއި ނާދީ ތަމައްދުންގެ ނައިބުރައީސްކަން ވެސް އެ މަނިކުފާނު ވަނީ ކުރައްވާފައެވެ.
ތަޢުލީމަށް ކޮށްދެއްވި ޚިދުމަތަކަކީ ވެސް ފާހަގަކޮށްލެވޭ ޚިދުމަތެއްކަމަށް މުހައްމަދު އަމީން (2001) ވިދާޅުވެއެވެ. އެގޮތުން މަދަރުސަތުލް ފަރީދިއްޔާއަށް އޭނާ ވަނީ، ވަރަށް ބޮޑެތި ޚިދުމަތްތަކެއް ކޮށްދެއްވާފައެވެ. ހަމަ އެހެންމެ މިއަދުގެ މާފަންނު މަދަރުސާ އުފެއްދެވުމުން، ޞަލާޙުއްދީނަށް ނިސްބަތްކޮށް، “މަދަރުސަތުއް ޞަލާޙިއްޔާ”ގެ ނަމުން އެ މަދަރުސާއަށް ނަން ދެއްވީވެސް އެމަނިކުފާނެވެ. މީގެއިތުރުން ކުޅިވަރަށް ކޮށްދެއްވި ޚިދުމަތަކީ ވެސް، އެމަނިކުފާނުގެ ޚާއްޞަ ޚިދުމަތްތަކުގެ ތެރޭގައި ފާހަގަކޮށްލެވޭ ޚިދުމަތެކެވެ. ޚާއްޞަކޮށް ގަލޮޅު ގުރީން ކުލަބަށް ކުރެއްވި ޚިދުމަތްތަކެވެ. ހޯއްދަވައިދެއްވި ފުރިހަމަ ކާމިޔާބީތަކެވެ.
އަމީނުދީދީ ދައުލަތް ހިންގެވި ދުވަސްވަރު ކުރިމަތިވެ ވަޑައިގެންނެވި އެންމެ ބޮޑު އެއް ގޮންޖެހުމަކީ، އުތުރު ގަޑުބަޑުގެ ނަމުން މަޝްހޫރުވި ގަޑުބަޑެވެ. 1362 ވަނަ އަހަރު ޞަފަރުމަހު 26 ވަނަދުވަހު ފެށުނު އެ ގަޑުބަޑުގެ ކަންތައް ނިމިގެންދިޔައީ، ސަރުކާރަށް ކާމިޔާބު ލިބިގެންނެވެ. މި ކާމިޔާބީގައިވެސް އިބުރާހީމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީގެ ދައުރު ވަރަށް ބޮޑުކަމަށް މުހައްމަދު އަމީނު (1951) ވިދާޅުވެފައި ވެއެވެ.
“އެ “ހަނގުރާމަ”އިގައި އަޅުގަނޑަށް ކާމިޔާބީއެއް ލިބުނުކަމުގައި ވަނީނަމަ، އެކަމުގެ ޝުކުރާއި މުބާރިކްބާދީ އެންމެ ޚާއްޞަ ގޮތެއްގައި ރައްދުވެގެންދަނީ ދެ ފަރާތަކަށެވެ. އެއް ފަރާތަކީ އަޅުގަނޑަށް ހިތްވަރާއި ފަންވަރު ދެއްވި، އިލްހާމާއި މަދަދުވެރިކަން ލިބެމުންއައި ލޮބުވެތި ފަރާތެވެ. އަނެއްފަރާތަކީ،……….. އާދެ! އޭނާއަކީ، އެންމެ ފުރިހަމަ މާނައިގައި “އަތިރީގެ”އަށް ނިސްބަތްވެ ވަޑައިގެންނެވި، ތެދުވެރި ހަރުދަނާ ހިންމަތްތެރި ބިރެއް ނެތް ދިވެހި ދަރިއެއްކަން ސާބިތުކޮށްދެއްވި އަލްފާޟިލް އިބުރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީ އެވެ.” (މުހައްމަދު އަމީން1951).
އިބުރާހީމް މުޙައްމަދުދީދީގެ އިތުރު ޚިދުމަތްތަކުގެ ތެރޭގައި ކާބޯތަކެތި ހަމަޖައްސާ އޮފީހުގެ މެންބަރުކަން ކުރެއްވުމުގެ އިތުރުން މަސްވެރިކަމާބެހޭ ކަންކަން ހަމަޖެއްސުމަށް އުފެއްދެވި ކޮމެޓީގެ މެންބަރުކަން ވެސް ހިމެނެއެވެ. މީގެ އިތުރުން މުހައްމަދު އަމީނަށް ދޮށިމޭނާކަމަށް ކޮލިލެއްވި ދުވަހު، މާބަނޑޭރިއެއްގެ ބަދަލުގައި ވެސް ހުންނެވީވެސް އިބުރާހީމް މުޙައްމަދު ދީދީއެވެ.
ނައިބްރައީސްކަން ލިބިވަޑައިގަތުމަށްފަހު
އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދުދީދީ ނައިބްރައީސަކަށް ހުންނެވިއިރު ގައުމުގެ ރައީސެއްގެ މަގާމުގައި ހުންނެވީ އަލްއަމީރު މުހައްމަދު އަމީނު ދީދީ އެވެ. އިބްރާހީމް ދީދީ ނައިބުރައީސަކަށް ހޮވުނީ ރައްޔިތުންގެ ވަރަށް މަތީ އަޣުލަބިއްޔަތަކުންނެވެ. އެއީ މާލޭ އަންހެނުންގެ %99 ފިރިހެނުންގެ %98.5 އަދި މާލޭގައި ތިބި އަތޮޅުތަކުގެ މީހުންގެ %100 ތާޢީދާއެކުގައެވެ.
ތާރީޚީ ލިޔުންތަކުން ހާމަވާގޮތުގައި އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީއަކީ މުހައްމަދު އަމީނު ވަރަށް ތާޢީދު ކުރެއްވި، އިތުބާރު ކުރެއްވި، ލޯބިފުޅުވި ބޭފުޅެކެވެ. މުހައްމަދު އަމީނު (1953) ވިދާޅުވެފައިވަނީ، އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދުދީދީއަކީ އޭނާގެ ކަނާތްކަމަށެވެ. މިއިން ވެސް އެނގެނީ އިތުބާރު ކުރައްވާލެއް ބޮޑުކަމެވެ. ލޯބިފުޅުވާލެއް މަތިވެރިކަމެވެ.
އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދުދީދީއަކީ ފުރަތަމަ ޖުމުހޫރިއްޔާގެ ނައިބުރައީސްގެ އިތުރުން، ވަޒީރުލް އަޢުޒަމް (ޖުމުހޫރިއްޔާގެ ރައީސްގެ) ނާއިބުވެސް މެއެވެ. އަމީނުދީދީ ދައުލަތުގެ އެކިކަންކަމަށް ރާއްޖޭން ބޭރަށް ވަޑައިގަންނަވާއިރު، ދައުލަތުގެ ހުރިހާ ކަމެއް ބެލެހެއްޓެވުމުގެ އެންމެހާ ޒިންމާ، އަމީނު ހަވާލުކުރައްވަނީ އިބްރާހީމް ދީދީއާއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ނައިބުރައީސެއްގެ މަގާމު އޭނާ ފުރުއްވަމުން ގެންދެވިއިރު، އޭނާގެ ހަރަކާތްތެރިކަން ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ފެންނަމުންދިޔައީ ވަރަށް ފުރިހަމައަށެވެ.
1 ޖެނުއަރީ 1953 ގައި އުފަންވި ދިވެހި ފުރަތަމަ ޖުމުހޫރީ ވެރިކަން، އެއަހަރުގެ އޮގަސްޓުމަހު 21 ވަނަ ދުވަހު ނިމުމަކަށް އައިކަމަށް، އިބުރާހީމް ޝިހާބު (1990) ވިދާޅުވެފައި ވެއެވެ. ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ފުރަތަމަ ޖުމުހޫރީ ވެރިކަން އެންމެ 7 މަހާއި 21 ދުވަހުގެ ތެރޭގައި އުވިދިޔުމުގައި، އިބްރާހީމްދީދީގެ ދައުރު ވަރަށް ފުޅާކަމަށް، ތާރީޚީ ލިޔުންތަކުން ސާބިތުވެއެވެ. އާމިނަތު ފާއިޒާ (2009) ވިދާޅުވެފައި ވަނީ، އަމީނުދީދީގެ ވެރިކަން ވައްޓާލުމުގައި އެންމެ އިސްކޮށް ހުންނެވިފަރާތަކީ އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީކަމަށެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އިބްރާހީމް ޝިހާބުގެ ޚިޔާލު ތަފާތެވެ.
“އެ ރޭގެ އެ މަންޒަރުތައް ލޮލުންދެކެ، އަތުން ހިފި މީހެއްގެ ގޮތުން އަޅުގަނޑު ދަންނަވާނީ، އަލްއަމީރު މުޙައްމަދު އަމީނަށް އެއަނިޔާ ލިބިވަޑައިގަތީ އެއްވެސް ފަރާތަކުން ކޮންޓްރޯލު ކުރުމުގެ ކުޅަދާނަކަމެއް ނެތް، ވަރަށް ބޮޑު ހައިޖާނެއްގެ ތެރޭގައި ކަމަށެވެ. އެ އަނިޔާ އެގޮތަށް ލިބިވަޑައިގަތްކަމުގެ މަސްއޫލިއްޔަތު، އޭރު އޮތް ދައުލަތް ހިންގަން ތިބި ބައެއްގެ ކޮނޑުގައި އެޅުވުމުން އަޅުގަނޑު ދުރުހެލިވަމެވެ. މިވާހަކަ މިލިޔުނީ، އެއްވެސް ހާލެއްގައި އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީގެ ދިފާޢުގައެއް ނޫނެވެ.” (އިބުރާހީމް ޝިހާބު 1951).
އަހުމަދު ޝާކިރު (2006) ހާމަކުރައްވާ ގޮތުގައި، އިބުރާހީމްދީދީގެ ހިތްޕުޅު އަމީނާ ދޭތެރޭގައި އޮތީ ކިހިނެއްތޯ ބަލާއިރު، ސުވާލު އުފެދޭ ކަމަށެވެ. ސަބަބުތަކުގެ ތެރޭގައި، އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީގެ ބައްޕަ ވެލާނާގޭ މުޙައްމަދުދީދީ، އަމީނާ ބެހޭގޮތުން ދެއްކި ވިޔާނުދާ ވާހަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، އެ ދެމެދުގައި އުފެދުނު ހަމަނުޖެހުންތަކާއި، މުހައްމަދުދީދީ ރަށުން ބޭރުގައި އަވަހާރަވުމުން މާލެއަށް ނޭރުވި ފަޅުތެރޭގައި ގިނައިރު ބާއްވަންޖެހުން ހިމެނެއެވެ. މިހެން މިކަން ދިމާވަން މެދުވެރިވީ، ގަބުރު މާލެއެރުވުމުގެ ހުއްދަ ހޯދަން އަމީނަށް ދެންނެވުމަށް ގޮސްގެން، ފައިންޕުޅު ފެންނަގޮތް ނުވުމުންނެވެ. އެންމެ ފަހުން މާލެއެރުވީ ނާއިބުރައީސެއްގެ ޙައިސިއްޔަތުން، އިބްރާހީމް ދީދީ ހުއްދަ ދެއްވައިގެންނެވެ.
މުހައްމަދުދީދިގެ މޫނުފުޅު ދެކެން ކަމުވޮށިގެންވާ އެތައްބަޔަކާއި އާންމުގެ އެތައް ބަޔަކު ދިޔައިރު ވެސް، އަމީނު ވަޑައިނުގަތުން ވެސް މިކަމުގެ ސަބަބަކަށް ވިއެވެ. މިކަމާ އިބްރާހީމްދީދީ ކޯފާ އިސްކުރައްވާ ވިދާޅުވިކަމަށް ވެއެވެ. “މިހާރު މިއޮތީ މަރުވެފައެވެ. ކިތަންމެ ބޮޑު ބާޣީއެއްކަމުގައި ވިޔަސް، ދެން ގައިމު ތެދުވެގެން ނާދެވޭނެންޏާއެވެ. މޫނު ދެކިލަން އައިނަމަ ކީއްހެއްޔެވެ. އެވަރުވެސް ނުވިއެވެ.” އަހުމަދު ޝާކިރު (2006) ވިދާޅުވަނީ ޙަޤީޤަތުގައި އަމީނު އެތަނަށް ވަޑައިނުގަތީކީ ނޫނެވެ. އެރޭ އެ ކަމެއް ދިމާވިއިރު އަމީނުގެ އާލާސްކަންފުޅު ބޮޑުވެގެން ގޮސް އޮންނެވީ ހޭފުޅު ނެތިފައެވެ.
އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީގެ ޒާތީ ބައެއް ކަންކަމާ އަމީނުދީދީ ބެހިވަޑައިގަތުން ވެސް މިކަމުގެ ސަބަބެއްކަމަށް ލަފާކުރެވެއެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް މިއިން އެއްވެސް ކަމަކާ ގުޅިގެން އިބުރާހީމްދީދީގެ ހިތްޕުޅު އަމީނާމެދު ނުބައިކަން، ކުރިމަތީގައި ފާޅުކުރައްވާފައެއް ނުވެއެވެ. މުރާލިކަމާއި ހީވާގިކަމާއެކު، ސަރުކާރު ހިންގެވުމުގައި އުޅުއްވަމުން ގެންދެވިއެވެ.
އަމީނު ސިއްޙީ ފަރުވާއަކަށް ސިލޯނަށް ވަޑައިގަތުމުން، ދައުލަތް ހިންގެވުމާއި މަޙުކަމަތުލް އަމަންއާންމުގެ ވެރިކަމާ ހަވާލުވެ ވަޑައިގެން ހުންނެވީ އިބުރާހީމްދީދއެވެ. އަހުމަދު ޝާކިރު (2006) ވިދާޅުވަނީ، ސަރުކާރު ބަދަލުކޮށްލުމުގެ ރޭވުންތައް ރަސްމީގޮތެއްގައި ރޭވުނީ އެދުވަސްވަރުގައި ކަމަށެވެ. އަމީނުދީދީއަށް ދޮން ކަޅު ވެސް އެނގިވަޑައި ނުގަންނަވައެވެ. އޭރު ވަޔަރުލެސް އޮފީހުގެ ވެރިއަކަށް ހުންނަވަނީ، އައްނަބީލު ހަސަން އަލި ދީދީއެވެ. ބުނެވޭގޮތުގައި ސިރިއްޔާތުގައި ރޭވި ރޭވުންތައް ހަސަން އަލިދީދީއަށް އެނގިވަޑައިގަތުމުން، އަމީނަށް ވަޔަރުލެހުން އެކަން އެންގެވުމަށްޓަކައި ހަސަން އަލި ދީދީ އޮފީހަށް ވަޑައިގަންނަވަން އުޅުއްވަނިކޮށް، އޭގެ ކުރިން އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީ ތަޅުދަނޑިފަތި އަތުލެއްވީއެވެ. މިކަމުން ހާމަވަނީ އިންގިލާބު ގެނައުމަށް ރޭއްވެވި ރޭއްވެވުމުގައި އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީގެ ދައުރު ކުޑަނޫންކަމެވެ.
1372 ވަނަ އަހަރު ޛުލްޙައްޖުމަހުގެ 11 ވަނަ ދުވަހުގެ ހުކުރުނަމާދުން ފޭބުމާއެކުހެން، އާންމުން ގުޅަކުޅޭ ފަސްގަނޑަށް ޖަމާވަމުން ދިޔައެވެ. ސަރުކާރާ މެދު، ޚާއްޞަކޮށް އަމީނާ ދޭތެރޭ އުފެދިފައިވާ ނުރުހުމާއި ރުޅިވެރިކަމުގެ ޝުޢޫރުތައް ފާޅުކޮށް އަޑު އުފުލާށެވެ. އެއްވަމުން ދިޔަ މީހުންތަކުން ގުޅަކުޅޭ ފަސްގަނޑު ފުރި ބާރުވަމުން ދިޔައިރު، އިބުރާހީމްދީދީ ސިފައިންގޭ ދޮރުމަތީގައި ހުންނެވިއެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އެކަން ހައްލުކުރައްވާކަށް، އެއްވެސް ފިޔަވަޅެއް ނާޅުއްވައެވެ. އެދުވަހުގެ އެ ހޫނުކަން ކެނޑިގެން ދިޔައީ، އަމީނަށާއި ސަރުކާރަށް ތާޢީދުކުރާ އެތައް ބަޔަކު ބިޑި އެޅުވި ހައްޔަރު ކުރެވިގެންނެވެ. އޭރު އަމީނު ވަޑައިގެންވީ ސިލޯނުގައެވެ. މިއީ އިންގިލާބުގެ އަމަލީ ބައިގެ ފެށުންކަމަށް ދެންނެވިދާނެއެވެ.
އަމީނު ސިލޯނުގައި ހުންނަވަނިކޮށް މާލޭގެ ކަންތައްތައް މިހާރު ވަރަށް ގޯސްވެއްޖެކަމަށާއި އަވަސްވީގޮތަކުން މާލެ ވަޑައިގަތުމަށް މެސެޖު ފޮނުއްވީ، އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީއެވެ. އޭރު ބަޑިގުދަނު ތަޅުދަނޑި ވެސް ވަނީ އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީގެ އަތުގައެވެ. އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީގެ މެސެޖު ލިބިވަޑައިގަތުމާއެކު، އަމީނު އަވަސްވެގަތީ، މާލެ ވަޑައިގަތުމަށެވެ. 1372 ވަނަ އަހަރު، ޛުލްޙައްޖު މަހު، 21 ވަނަ ދުވަހު އިނގިރޭސިންގެ މަތިންދާ ބޯޓެއްގައި އަމީނު މާލެ ވަޑައިގަތުމުން، އޭނާ މާލެއަށް ފައިބައި ވަޑައިގަތުމުގެ ފުރުޞަތު ނުދެއްވާ ގެންދެވުނީ ދޫނިދުއަށެވެ. މިކަމުގައި އިސްކޮށް ހުންނެވީ އިބުރާހީމް ފާމުލަދޭރި ކިލެގެފާނާއި އިބްރާހީމްދީދީއެވެ. މާލެ ނުގެނެސް ދޫނިދުއަށް ގެންދެޔައީ، މާލޭ ރައްޔިތުން ތިބީ އަމީނުދެކެ ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް ރުޅި އައިސްފައިކަމަށްވާތީ، އެމަނިކުފާނުގެ ސަލާމަތާއި ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށް ޓަކައިކަމަށް ވިދާޅުވެފައެވެ.
ގާތްގަނޑަކަށް 4 މަހެއްހައި ދުވަހު، ދޫނިދޫގައި “އަރުވާލެއްވިގެން” އަމީނު ހުންނެވުމަށްފަހު، އިބުރާހީމް ޙިލްމީއާއި، ދަނބިދަރިކަލުން ކަމަށްވާ ޝަމްސުއްދީން ޙިލްމީގެ އެހީތެރިކަމާއެކު، 1373 ވަނަ އަހަރު، ރަބީޢުލް އާޚިރުމަހު، 24 ވަނަ ދުވަހުގެ ރޭ މެންދަމުން އަލިވެ 1:30 ގައި މާލެވަޑައިގަތެވެ. އޭރު އޭނާ ހުންނެވިކަމަށް ވަނީ ސިފައިންގެ ފަށް އެޅި ގަމީސްކޮޅެއްގައެވެ.
އެރޭގެ ބާކީ ވަގުތުތައް ހޭދަވެގެން ދިޔައީ، ބިރުވެރިކަމާއި އަނިޔާވެރިކަމުން ފުރިގެންވާ ފަދަ ހާދިސާ ތަކެއްގެ ތެރޭގައެވެ. ބިރުން ރޫރޫ އަޅާފަދަ އެތައް ވަގުތުތަކެއް ކުރިމަތި ކުރުވުމަށްފަހުގައެވެ. އަމީނު ދީދީގެ ހަށިކޮޅަށް ލިބުނު އަނިޔާ ބަޔާންކުރުމަކީ މަޢުޟޫން ބޭރުވުން ކަމަށް ފެންނާތީ ކުރުކޮށްލާނަމެވެ.
އެރޭ އަމީނުދީދީއަށް ލިބުނު އަނިޔާއާއެކު، ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ފުރަތަމަ ޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާގެ ނިމުން އަތުވެއްޖެއެވެ. އެހާތަނުން އިބުރާހީމް މުހައްމަދުދީދީގެ ނައިބުރައީސްކަމަށް ވެސް ނިމުން އައީއެވެ.
އިބުރާހީމް ޝިހާބު (1990) ވިދާޅުވާގޮތުން، ގުޅަކުޅޭ ފަސްގަނޑަށް މީހުން އެއްވެ، އަމީނު ދީދގެ ހަށިކޮޅަށް ކުރެއްވި އަނިޔާއަށްފަހު، އެބައިމީހުން ގުޅަކުޅޭ ފަސްގަނޑު ދޫކޮށް ދިޔައީ، އިބްރާހީމް ދީދީއަށާއި އިބުރާހީމް ފާމުލަދޭރި ކިލެގެފަނާ ދައުލަތް ހިންގުމުގެ ހުރިހާ ކަމެއް ހަވާލުކުރައްވާފައެވެ. އެހާތަނުން ރާއްޖޭގެ ރަސްކަމާ މުހައްމަދު ފަރީދުލް އައްވަލު ޙަވާލުވެ ވަޑައިގަންނަވަންދެން ދައުލަތުގެ އެންމެ އިސްވެރިންގެ ގޮތުގައި ތިއްބެވީ މި ދެބޭފުޅުންނެވެ.
އިންގިލާބަށްފަހު އިބްރާހީމް ދީދީ.
އަމީނުދީދީގެ ވެރިކަން އިންގިލާބުކޮށްލުމަށްފަހު، ރާއްޖޭގައި އަނެއްކާވެސް އުފެދުނީ ރަސްކަމެކެވެ. މިރަސްކަމަށް އިސްކުރެވުނީ މުހައްމަދު ފަރީދު ދީދިއެވެ. ގައުމުގެ ވެރިކަން ކޮންމެ ގޮތަކަށް ހަމަޖެހިގެން ދިޔަނަމަވެސް، އެންމެ އިސްކޮށް ގައުމު ހިންގަވަން ވެރިއެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި ހުންނަވާނީ އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީ ކަމަށް، އޭނާ ހީފުޅު ކުރެއްވިކަމަށް އަހުމަދު ޝާކިރު (2006) ހާމަކުރައްވައެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ކަންތައްވީ އެހެނެއް ނޫނެވެ. މުހައްމަދު ފަރީދުގެ ރަސްކަމުގައި، ބޮޑުވަޒީރުކަމަށް އައްޔަނު ކުރެވުނީ، އިބްރާހީމް ފާމުލަދޭރި ކިލެގެފާނެވެ. އިބްރާހީމް މުހައްމަދުދީދީއަށް ދެއްވީ ވަޒީރުލް މާލިއްޔާކަމާއި މަޙުކަމަތުލް އަމުން ޢާންމުގެ ވެރިޔާގެ މަގާމުކަމަށް އިބުރާހީމްޝިހާބު (1990) ވިދާޅުވެފައި ވެއެވެ. މިގޮތަށް ކަންތައް ވުމުން، އެހެން ބޭފުޅެއްގެ އަމުރުގެ ދަށުގައި ހުންނަވާކަށް އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީއަށް ފަސޭހަފުޅު ކަމަކަށް ނުއްވެވެ. އެންމެފަހުން ބޭސްކޮޅު ކުރެއްވުމުގެ ނަމުގައި، 1954 ވަނަ އަހަރު ޖޫން މަހުގެ 28 ވަނަ ދުވަހު ސިލޯނަށް ވަޑައިގަތުމަށްޓަކައި ފުރައި ވަޑައިގަތީއެވެ. އިބުރާހީމް ފާމުލަދޭރި ކިލެގެފާނަށް ބޮޑުވަޒީރުކަން ލިބިވަޑައިގަތްތާ، އެންމެ 3 މަހާއި 21 ދުވަހުގެ ތެރޭގައެވެ. އާމިނަތު ފާއިޒާ (2009) ވިދާޅުވަނީ، އުއްމީދު ކުރެއްވި މަގާމަށްވުރެ ދަށް މަގާމެއް ދެއްވުމުން، ކެތްނުކުރެއްވިގެން އެމަނިކުފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅަށް މާޔޫސްކަން ވެރިވާންފެށީ ކަމަށެވެ. ނަތީޖާއަކަށްވީ، ކުޑަ ދުވަސްކޮޅެއްގެތެރޭގައި އާލާސްކަންފުޅެއް ޖެހިވަޑައިގަތުންކަމަށާއި ޖެހުނު އާލާސްކަންފުޅުގެ އަސްލަކީ، އަމީނު އަވަހާރަވުމާގުޅިގެން އަމިއްލަ ނަފުސަށް ތަޙައްމަލުކުރައްވަން ޖެހިވަޑައިގަތް ހިތްދަތިކަމެއްކަމަށެވެ.
އިބުރާހީމްދީދީ ސިލޯނަށް ވަޑައިގަތުމާއެކު، އޭރު ސިލޯނުގައި ހުންނެވިއިރު ދިވެހި ދައުލަތުގެ ރެޕްޒެންޓެޓިވް މުހައްމަދުޒަކީ (އިބްރާހީމްދީދީއަށް ބޮޑުބޭބެ ވިދާޅުވާ) އާއި އިބްރާހީމް ދީދީއާ ދެމެދު ހަމަނުޖެހުންތަކެއް ހިނގަންފަށައިފިއެވެ. ސަބަބަކީ ސަފީރުގެ އޮފީހަށް އިބުރާހީމް ދީދީ ވަޑައިގެން، މުހައްމަދުޒަކީއަށް އެކިއެކި އަމުރުފުޅުތައް ކުރައްވަން ފެއްޓެވުމެވެ. ކުރެއްވި އަމުރުފުޅުތަކަށް މުހައްމަދުޒަކީ ތަބާނުވާތީ، އިބުރާހީމްދީ ކޯފާވެ، މުހައްމަދު ޒަކީ ވަޒީފާއިން ވަކިކުރައްވަފާނޭ ކަމަށް ވެސް ވިދާޅުވިކަމަށް އަހުމަދު ޝާކިރު (2006) ހާމަކުރައްވައެވެ. މިކަންކަމާ ގުޅިގެން މުހައްމަދު ޒަކީ އެކަން ދިވެހި ސަރުކާރަށް އެންގެވުމާގުޅިގެން، މި މައްސަލަ ވަޒިރުންގެ މަޖިލީހަށް ހުށަހެޅުނެވެ. ވަޒީރުންގެ މަޖިލީހުން ބެއްލެވި ބެއްލެވުމުން އެނގުނީ، ގަވާއިދާއި ހަމަތަކުގެ މަތީގައި ހުންނެވީ މުހައްމަދު ޒަކީ ކަމެވެ. މިކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން އިބުރާހީމްދީގެ ހިތުގައި އިހުނަށްވުރެ ވެސް ބޮޑަށް ދައުލަތާ މެދު ނަފުރަތު އުފެދުނެވެ. އަދި މުހައްމަދު ޒަކީއާ ދެމެދު އިތުރަށް މަސްއަލަ ގޯސްވިއެވެ.
މިކަމާގުޅިގެން ސަރުކާރުން އިބުރާހީމްދީއަށް މާލެ ވަޑައިގަތުމަށް އެދި ސިޓީފުޅެއް ފޮނުއްވިއެވެ. ޖަވާބުގައި އިބުރާހީމްދީ އެންގެވީ، ބޭސްކޮޅު ނުނިމޭ ކަމަށާއި އަދި ދުވަސްކޮޅަކު ސިލޯނުގައި ބެހެއްޓުމަށެވެ. ދެތިން މަސް ފަހުން އަނެއްކާވެސް މާލެ ވަޑައިގަތުމަށް ދަންނަވައި، ސަރުކާރުން ސިޓީފުޅެއް ފޮނުއްވިއެވެ. މި ސިޓީފުޅަކަށް ޖަވާބެއް ލިބިވަޑައެއް ނުގަތެވެ. ތިންވަނަ ސިޓީފުޅެއް ވެސް ފޮނުއްވިއެވެ. ޖަވާބެއް ލިބިވަޑައެއް ނުގަތެވެ. އެ ހިސާބުން ދައުލަތުގެ އަމުރެއް ނުލިބި، މާލެވަޑައިނުގަތުމަށް އިބުރާހީމް މުހައްމަދު ދީދީއަށް އެނގެވިކަމަށް، އިބުރާހީމް ޝިހާބު (1990) ހާމަކުރައްވާފައި ވެއެވެ.
އެހެންނަމަވެސް ފަހުން ސަރުކާރުން އޭނާއަށް ރާއްޖެ އައުމުގެ ހުއްދަ ދެއްވުމުން ވެސް މާލެވަޑައިނުގެން، ކޮޅުބުގައި އަމިއްލަފުޅަށް އަރުވާލެވިގެން ހުންނަވާ އަވަހާރަވީއެވެ. އަވަހާރަވިއިރު އުމުރުފުޅަކީ، ގާތްގަނޑަކަށް 82 އަހަރުފުޅެވެ. އަވަހާރަވީ މައުމޫނު އަބުދުލް ގައްޔޫމުގެ ވެރިކަމުގައި 6 އޮކްޓޫބަރ 1981 ގައެވެ. 29 ވަރަކަށް އަހަރު ވާންދެން އަމިއްލަ ވަޒަނުން ބޭރުގައި އުޅުއްވުމަށްފަހުގައެވެ. އެހާތަނާ ޖެހެންދެންވެސް ސަރުކާރުން އޭނާގެ ހުރިހާ ޚަރަދެއް ވެސް އައީ ދެއްވަމުންނެވެ. އެ މަރުޙޫމަށް ސުވަރުގޭގެ ދާޢިމީ ނިޢުމަތް ދެއްވާށި! އާމީން!
